I trust Bush's instincts as a politician. I trust them more as a leader. And I trust his judgement

Freepers are lousy judges of larger picture issues. ON ANYTHING. We're too emotionally involved.

This forum is like newly licensed daytraders, back in the heyday of 1997, who are playing with scared money. The stock is up 1/8 "THANK GOD I CAN FEED MY FAMILY!" Twenty seconds the Stock is down an 1/4 "OH NO, I'M RUINED!" That's a 30 second emotional seing. That goes on all day. People go nuts first week and lose a bundle because they panic.

We need to be like Gomez Addams at the stock ticker: "Cara Mia. We're Rich! We're Poor! We're Rich Again! Thank God we ran out of tape! Let's dance!'

The polls that said Bush "lost the debate" were skewed ridiculously toward Democrats. Look at the internals of Gallup and CBS to see that.

Bush is a leader. Part of leading is being Presidential. The vote November 2 is a visceral one for most people, and it's not pollable. People lie to pollsters.

The stuff about Freepers being "overconfident" and the polls showing a Bush cakewalk in 2000 is an urban legend. I remember everyone of substance knowing it was a knucklebiter for the entire month of October. The DUI "surprise" was no surprise to folks like Hugh Askson and others who informed us up til then how tight it was.

This one isn't going to be as tight. Our electoral positioning is exponentially more advantageous today.

I think Bush will win by close to 100 electoral votes.

Hear Hear Hear. Keep brining it Brother! Too many Freepers are confusing hypercritical attitudes towrds their own side with intellectual sophistication. They think they are showing how "clever" they are by beating up their OWN side all the time. They are not clever, they are intellectually monochromatic.

Come on Bushies, Let Roll.
