The only one I enjoy on the panel on Fox is Charles Krauthammer, who, unfortunately wasn't there tonite. He should have been. The only one on Fox's panels that doesn't spout drivel.

I devoutly hope that the RNC puts together a montage of Edwards expressions to counter the montage of Bush's. All you have to do is look at that smug, self satisfied, smirk for about two seconds and your entire subconscious starts paging through the dictionary of slang looking for a word that doesn't cover him. The contrast of the expressions of those two is really powerful stuff.

At times, Cheney appeared a little tired and under pressure.

I noticed that also. I thought he looked more stressed than in his debate with Lieberman 4 years ago. It was especially noticeable in the early going when the "things are tough in Iraq" lies were piled high and needed to be shoveled. I thought Dick relaxed as the debate went on, and was more himself toward the end.

I'm 26 so I suppose that's young. My first election I actually voted in was 4 years ago and what the Dems did to try to steal that made me a solid Republican.

What I saw of Cheney tonight makes me glad that I'm one and not someone standing behind a sleazeball like Edwards who would try to exploit Cheney's daughter in the manner he did. The VP had much more self control than I ever would have managed in that manner and his quick response made it very clear that Edwards was way out of line.
