Did you notice how Edwards kept refering to the American people watching "Television" They know they have the MSM in their pocket and they aren't afraid to point it out.

But Mr Cheney still kicked butt !

Ever hear a 13 yr. old liberal brat? I just did. She was a call in to C-Span by the totally brainwashed girl it was unreal!!! She went on and on.."this is my education, this is my future...this is my choice.......I've been working very hard for Kerry and Edwards..." The poor creature was just as pathetic sounding as your most died in wool elderly brain dead liberal. you had to hear it.

tame, I heard that, too. MSNBC gave raving reviews to Cheney.

Heck Andrea Mitchell said that Cheney's remark about just meeting Edwards tonight was devastating for Edwards!

++++I always go to MSNBC to see reactions on these because they are reliably the worst case scenario for +++

You should have gone to CBS. They had a poll showing Edwards up by 13 %. Total SHills

Kerry's idea for a ban on the bunker busters was, to me, the most shocking idea he has had yet. I thought much more would have been made about that, but there has been almost no mention of it.

Please explain the "Senator Gone" thing. (I had to work during most of the debate.)

Edwards showed inexperience, and self-indulgence

He looked like the punk that he is.

Cheney bowled me over.
I expected arrogance from him in advance of the debate and saw measured responsibility.

Edwards showed inexperience, and self-indulgence.

Same old same old.

Bush-Cheney: Leadership, Courage, Decision

Kerry-Edwards: Skillful Politicians posturing

Guess we will have to see if the American people can figure that out.

"Kudos to Gwen Ifill for a job well done"

I have to agree, she did a spectacular job of being fair and firm. Much better than Leher.

Cheney ruled, especially on directly answering the question asked. I thought Gywn asked very fair questions in a balanced way and Cheney nailed them. The Halliburton approach fell flat and Breck Girl looked like an idiot. The only area I thought Cheney dropped the ball was in the rebuttal to Edwards on the uniter/divider answer. Cheney answered the question directly by addressing the issue and not attacking Edwards, yet Edwards only attacked Cheney.
In the rebuttal, Cheney should have pointed out that Edward's response is the reason why there is such division; because people like Edwards and his party cannot do anything of substance, only attack attack attack without facts to back it up.

From the commentary here tonight, I'd say Fox picks their issues to sound open-minded to the left, and that they decided since Cheney gave such a slam dunk performance that they could tilt toward Edwards a bit, because championing idiots has less effect during a vp debate than in numerous other circumstances.

And the way he did it and why he did it were despicable.

He made it sound like he was concerned for Cheney's daughter when in fact he wanted to point out her sexual preference, I think in an attempt to disaffect some on the far right.

"Is anyone watching Jackass on PMSNBC? Holy moly, Mush Mouth from Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids lives!"

I was hoping MSNBC would bring in a translator. Of course, since Jesse Jackson has been repeating the same lines for the last 25 years, what's the point?

Aren't they though. I can't believe Fred and Kristol gave the second half to Edwards.

>>Cici's spinning hard trying to downplay the damage done by Cheney with his line about tonight being the first time he's met Edwards.

And I cannot believe Mort and others on the panel claim to have been BORED by this debate. This debate was action-packed fun!<<

Do not worry they will change their views in a couple of days when the realize people think Cheney won. People I would not worry about those very dumb internet polls.

I heard on the radio that ABC polled people who watched the debate and 43% for Cheney, 35% for Edwards, %19 tie.

>> I heard perhaps a CBS poll showed Edwards way ahead, but am not sure.

Dan Rather is desperate. He is reaching the end of his rope in his endeavor to destroy the Bush Administration and help his marxist buddies resume power.
