How old did Edwards say he was when this was happening? He was born in 1953, and PBS wasn't around until 1969, so he was approaching adulthood.

He probably should have helped his dad with the math.

"Edwards can take some comfort in the fact that his hair looked good."

LOL!

Actually, bald guys make my heart go pitterpat. My incredibly sexy husband is as bald as Cheney is.

Okay, I love Mary Matalin, but is she taking her beauty tip from her husband? She's beginning to look a little like a serpent with hair, or a Vulcan.

Lehrer's television network, PBS, was tarnished in 1999 for sharing their donor lists with the Democratic National Committee. As a result, the President of PBS was forced to resign.

George Stephanopoulos , aide of former President Bill Clinton, revealed that Clinton's staff was thrilled to have Lehrer as the moderator in 1996 versus Bob Dole, saying "our moderator" had been picked.

Thank goodness for Cheney - he was great -

I'm glad Cheney did better than this server - think maybe the ops should have set the money goal higher - it's like pulling teeth to get on - :)

My only wish is that Cheney had let it rip for once - at least have mentioned the oil/food issue - perhaps why France, Germany, and others didn't join in for Iraq - someone needs to call things out - and set the record straight -

just my thoughts -

The lone conservative on CNN called it a win for Cheney while their coven of liberals called it a draw.

That means Cheney won. BIG.

Yeah - I just cannot imagine pulling something like that out when it is so easily refuted if he is wrong.

What amazes me is that Lurch and Breck Girl keep "forgetting" that the Presidents Clinton came in ready to reform healthcare and make it available for everyone. Eight years later, nary a bandaid had appeared. And now they can't stand it that the REPUBLICANS have actually done something about our healthcare crisis (created in part by idiot trial lawyers like Edwards who sue anything that moves). Besides that, the majority of the 5 million Americans who have lost their health insurance coverage have done so BY CHOICE because they are willing to take that chance. I'm surprised Edwards didn't have to continually run and go sit in some water to put out the fire in his pants since he was continually lying!

The online polls have been swamped by the Dems, they did it last week too. They are MEANINGLESS!

(Carnac Moment Coming)

Given their last attempt at a poll, here's Newsweek poll to be released tomorrow: Kerry 60%, Bush 37%, Nader 3%.

Not to worry - this was pretty severe.

Thanks for the link. I think it will be amusing to find out if Edwards was being a typical attorney and politician, and 'stretching' the truth there!

used your link to go vote in the CNN poll.
82% think Edwards won.

We are living in the most stupid, brainless country

Of course it did. The DNC and it's illegal campaign groups Moveon.org etc have a massive "Dupe the polls" campaign on. They sent out emails directing their stooges to flood the polls. 10 minutes after the debate, DNCball on MSBC with Chissey Matthews has 27,000 plus votes all most ALL for Edwards. Hmmm a show that has a .7 viewer share gets 27,000 hits in less then 10 minutes? Or did the poll start with say 15,000 votes for Edwards? Ignore the on line polls they are completely meaningless. If the Democrats want to kid themsevles that they won when Edwards embarassed them, LET THEM.

The Bush/Cheney Campaign should have negotiated a debate between Cheney and Kerry.

"My thought, maybe 3 minutes into the shoe, was, who is this overrated flyweight? (I hadn't seen the Breck Girl before.)"

I had never seen him speak before. All I heard all day on the news was how charming he is and how dour Cheney is. UH, I thought he came off as a complete jerk and broke the debate rules first chance he got.
