At no point in our history have there ever been so many gullible, confused, F'd-up on MTV, hats on backwards, proud 50%ers who can't graduate from High School, stupid, hate-America-firsters, Fed nipple suckling, constitutionally illiterate losers as we witness today. IOW, Kerry has a chance.

This is exactly what I was saying earlier today that explains the closeness in the polls between Bush and Kerry. Kerry, to any sane, intelligent individual, has the charisma of a wet cardboard box. Kerry's base is easily amused by Beavis & Butthead reruns and cardboard cutouts.

Cheney's remark about just meeting Edwards tonight was devastating for Edwards!

Someone on Scarborough (I think that was the show I was watching), said that wasn't true.

I laughed and laughed when Cahill said that Cheney looked grumpy and mean! What a hoot, Mary!

Me too! what was even better was when she said (in response to the $87billion question) that the Bush team just wants to focus on the past. My word, it's been less than a year since they cast that vote; there are troops in Iraq right now who were there at that time! We're not talking about ancient history! There is no way, no how, that they are going to talk their way out of the $87B. Only three kinds of people will vote for Kerry on election day: Yellow dog Bush-hating Kool-Aid Dems, peacenik freaks who could care less if our troops have body armor and people who haven't been paying attention and will back him beacuse he has a "D" after his name. Nobody else will sign on with guys who sent people halfway around the world to fight and then wouldn't send them bullets.

Hey, Mary Beth, want to talk about the future? In the future you will be unemployed!

Dick Cheney is comfortable in his own skin and is not afraid to show it. Very sexy.

I would kill to see a scientific survey showing that women who watched the debate thought Cheney was the sexier of the two.

It's so frustrating seeing things distorted so! I get so amazed when I talk to people at how little they really understand about the workings of our government. Most of them don't really even know the difference between a liberal mind set verses a conservative one! I hate it when a hear a woman, especially one who claims to be educated base a decision on whimsical crap! Everyone wants to be on the winner's side. That is everyone with shallow convictions. When the MSM slants things, unfortunately they reach these people, and the people are too stupid to know even know it.

I'm, I guess what you'd call a soccer mom. I have this urge to scream to other ladies how there to form an opinion by educating yourself. Then the choice for Bush is clear! Otherwise, you'll just end up sounding like Teresa Heinz Kerry, opinionated, yes. Educated, no.

He made it sound like he was concerned for Cheney's daughter when in fact he wanted to point out her sexual preference, I think in an attempt to disaffect some on the far right.

The just showed this clip on JOE and none of the panel thought this was a negative. ugh.

Yeah the Edwards people are running around claiming Cheney swore him into the Senate.

John Edwards was elected to the Senate in 1998. 3 years prior to Cheney becoming VP.

I was at many prayer breakfasts but met very few of the people in the room. This is very sloppy work on the part of the fact checkers of the Kerry campaign, they get so many things screwed up they seem like rank amateurs. They have made quite a few of these(hillary people) blunders.

Cheney could just clarify he never met Edwards in a real senate capacity.

A prayer breakfast photo op is not the senate.

Exactly! The NOW gang lost what little credibility they had at the time by trashing every single woman's good sense to speak out, who charged Clinton with rape.

The stuff about Freepers being "overconfident" and the polls showing a Bush cakewalk in 2000 is an urban legend. I remember everyone of substance knowing it was a knucklebiter for the entire month of October. The DUI "surprise" was no surprise to folks like Hugh Askson and others who informed us up til then how tight it was.

This one isn't going to be as tight. Our electoral positioning is exponentially more advantageous today

Hear Hear Hear. Keep brining it Brother! Too many Freepers are confusing hypercritical attitudes towrds their own side with intellectual sophistication. They think they are showing how "clever" they are by beating up their OWN side all the time. They are not clever, they are intellectually monochromatic.

Come on Bushies, Let Roll.

The better thing to do is to spam it more to look even more lopsided and unreal. You got that right about Johnny Trial lawyer, he kept using John Kerry's name so much he acted very much like a little butt boy, very immature and not able to be a man for himself. He fell apart a lot and only seemed to be somewhat confident when using sKerry's name.

Funny how Edwards never mention that meeting in his interview today. Seems to me the DNC is trying to generate a mythic meeting to divert attention to just how bad Cheney bitch slapped Edwards tonight

Kerry's base is easily amused

He doesn't even need a base, just lots and lots of stupid people. Pretty soon, a moron will get elected. I'm beginning to think we have cornered the market on stupid people. Not something to be proud of, but hey, WE'RE #1!!.

He did great but I wish he would have slammed edwards on the statement that "corporate executives pay less taxes that the troops on the ground in Iraq" Troops in Iraq and that entire theater pay ZERO taxes.

I was sitting there thinking, "I wonder if he could get away with saying, 'That's a lie, and you know it's a lie' or 'Wow, that's straight out of Marx, so we know you studied up well before you came here.'" Don't worry, somebody from the campaign will make a very big deal about it tomorrow, probably the President. His stump speech tomorrow is on foreign policy, and he could put in a line about how the troops need good equipment and solid leadership, not waffling and rhetorical tax relief.

Immediately after the debate, CBS News interviewed a nationally representative sample of 178 debate watchers

178 is a "nationally represeative sample"? You got to be KIDDING me! See-BS just refuses to get it.
