Rush: Dems running on hatred, fumes, not ideas.....even in Democrat polls, Bush is ahead post-debate. The people inside the Kerry campaign don't believe the Newsweek poll that shows Kerry ahead. Internal Kerry poll shows a tie.....
Well, this week's debate, anyway.
Good points.
Rush on debate: Reagan lost first debate by 19%, Ross Perot won first debate in 1992, Dukakis won first debate in 1988....
I knew Kerry was in Vietnam. I had no idea he had been in the Senate. /sarcasm
which reminds me of this photo:
Rush just said that the AP, NYT, ABC & CBS are no longer to be considered wire services reporting the news. They are strictly TRANSCRIPT SERVICES. If you want to know what's going on with the Kerry campaign, what their talking points are just watch the above. Straight from campaign Kerry to the above.
I'm laughing.... but ya know, to someone who hardly follows politics, it wouldn't surprise me a bit if that's exactly what they thought, given the ratio of Vietnam to Senate Record we hear about from Kerry.
Listen, I believe that this was Bush's strategy all along. He was going to let everyone else talk about Kerry's foreign policy record and his Iraq record.
Bush has always run a very disciplined campaign and he will begin to unleash on Kerry the next two debates. He will make him look like one of the most liberal candidates we have ever seen.
Bush has saved his fireworks (Kerry's senate record) for the end of the campaign when people can remember who they are voting for.
Trust me.
Rush briefly mentioned that Kerry's internal polling did not agree with newsweek. I waited for him to return to the subject but I had to leave. Did he say anything about that? He talked about Newsweek a lot but as far as I know he did not mention Gallup. I wonder what Kerry's internal polling says now.
Rush said he has seen the reports, the video, etc. regarding Kerry's cheating. Rush said if he cheated, he cheated - fine. Time to look forward. If he were Bush, he'd stay away from it.
Rush said he had an unnamed source that claimed that the Kerry Campaign did not believe Newsweek either. They had the race either tied or Bush slightly ahead. I was wondering if Rush elaborated on this.
A caller brought up the Kerry cheating a few minutes back, before the break. Rush used a rather weak sports analogy to say it was "too late" to make an issue of it, and that none of the Republican officials or anyone connected to these should make an issue of this.
He suggested that we all just use "humor"to deal with it, and not get our panties in a bunch.
Haven't seen much, except here and Drudge's site--- I guess this will go the way of Sandy Burger, and the demo memos,etc.....
Cool.. doing the CNS story
Excellent point- most people have VERY short memories, and in a presidential election, one month is a long time. No one will remember debate #1 on November 2. They will, however have lingering memories of how Bush eviscerated the Commie in the final debate.
Howard is leading in opinion polls in Australia...
Rush just mentioned this:)
What poll is Rush talking about that now has Bush up 5 points?!? Said dems are none too happy.
Ooops- sorry posted before I finished my actual reason for posting:) duuuhh...
Rush said there is a major new poll coming out this afternoon that Kerry is not happy with- has Bush up by 5
Rush sluffed ths off. Fox said it was a black pen! Where is the truth for God's sake?
