Maybe the men are bored, maybe they have too many feminazis over there or a shortage of good marrying supplies??? I don't know.

I am of the persuasion that dutch people are usually dark haired, fair skinned with light eyes.

I think the blondes are swedish, belgian and german. Never been to europe; wouldn't know for sure.

Mexican Women flocking to Holland.

Great news. Now only if they would take their children and the fathers of their children with them.

Ah, I can see them now, standing on the shore watching the Zider Zee, looking at tulips, windmills, abortuaries, corpses being gurneyed out of hospitals on their way to the crematoria after being euthanized.

They'll love it in Holland.

No jobs? Become 'hos. Plent of them around Amsterdam.

there is a great potential to export other things from Mexico to Holland, like nopale cactuses, flowers and vegetables.

Does Holland really need to import flowers?

It's Dutch men not Danish men .Men from Denmark are called Danes & would be annoyed that you thought of them as dutch men.

I know. My apologies to Dutch men. I wrote my response quickly at a time where I should have been in bed.

Well what about all the Asian women that come to this country on marriage visas?

They do?

The Dutch are just Germans with a difficult-to-imitate accent :-)

Yes because they'd be illegal without them. I'm not saying they're marrying FOR a visa which is absolutely false. The poster made an implication that could easily be applied to American men who meet women through dating services. I know of one American man who did as such and was very happy indeed.

First time I've heard this, where else are Mexicans immigrating to. Will Mr. Fox have any citizens left?

I would wager most of the Mexicans going to Europe are actually members of its elite class. There is no way the mestizos and Indians in Mexico could afford to fly to Amsterdam. So when they say:

Perla Dominguez, a Mexican woman who married a Dutch man and is moving to Holland, said they appreciate Mexicans more in Holland than they do in the United States.

... it is because Holland does not have a continuous stream of destitute Mexicans invading its shores and destroying its culture.

Maybe a certain amount of Dutch men like larger behinds on their women. It is no secret that Indian-blooded Mexican women are genetically disposed to having large cabooses. Even Linda Ronstadt has a larger than normal rear end.

Again, I would wager that most of the Mexican women going to Holland are Spanish, or at least on the Spanish end of the Mestizo spectrum. Then again, maybe the latter has just enough Indian blood to get the JLo fanny.

"There is no way the mestizos and Indians in Mexico could afford to fly to Amsterdam."

That's more than just a little racist, though I've heard it before even from foreigners who live here in Mexico and should know better. "Mestizo" hasn't had any meaning since the 1820s, other than in historical documents. "Indians" exist, but the Spanish word is used much like people in the United States use that word beginning with "N" meaning a low-down, dirty, lazy fellow, generally of a certain "race."

The Spanish, and the Mexicans, never went in for genocide, or for "racism". True, in the 1720s, the Bourbon kings tried to classify their American colonists by "race", but the whole thing was more or less a joke in Mexico. Nobody really gave a damn about the classifications other than the folks who benefitted from being "Spanish" (and a lot of them really weren't. There's plenty of records of doctors, for example, passing off their non-Spanish apprentices to doctors in the next town over, who just claimed the new doc in town was his cousin from Castille... "so, he' got a good tan, is that a problem?"

Anyway, unless you're fresh off the boat from the Ukraine (and we're getting a lot of Ukranian, Russian, Polish... and Korean immigrants in Mexico), even the very rich are unlikely to be "pure European". Or to care about it one way or another. There are plenty of people who can afford to fly to Amsterdam, who are more non-European than otherwise.

Sorry to go on so long about this, but I was talking to a couple of doltish ex-pats who like to pontificate about this country, but live in their own little isolatd world, and never notice the people around them. Unfortunately, my compatriates seem to notice every little nuance from, say Finland or Germany, without paying any attention to the next-door neighbors. It gets under my skin once in a while.

Well, being an American, I've never heard "Mestizo" used in a racist terms. I apologize if I got my facts wrong; I know only what I've read from people who've been in Mexico.

FWIW, though, I don't want to suggest that Amerindians are in any way incapable. I know mixed Spanish/Amerindian-blooded people in the United States who could easily afford to fly to Amsterdam.
