That would be fine by me, if they'd just stick to football. Then again, ABC/Disney/GLAAD has started Hollywoodizing Sportscenter, so who knows.

I'll give ESPN credit for trying out Pat Summerall on Sunday nights this year. So far it looks like it isn't going to work and he won't be back(pretty awkward chemistry in the booth at times and lots of play by play silence), but I'm glad that at least he got a shot, he has one of the 'true voices' of the NFL.

But I also like Madden and Michaels.

Will EA be treating this one like all of their other franchises and releasing it over and over again every year with a higher number on the title and a few graphics tweaks?

Eisner,Disney are leading the Gay movement.

They are not Christians; indeed, they detest them. They have their own set of values they wish to impose on us.

Soooo, did anyone notice, or even care, that the NFL has banned the players wearing the #40 in honor of Pat Tillman?? Did you know that it carries a $5,000 fine??

Got a link for that? I'd need to see serious ink on that before making comment.

... they've dressed up an NFL player in drag (makeup and a ballerina costume) while a gay guy does a photoshoot of it?

At first it's funny seeing a guy dressed as a woman, but after a while, it starts to get old.

Not to mention that all of their promos for upcoming ABC shows are full of innuendo.

I think that it's a Dave Kopay thing.

Hey, what would you expect from a sport where they dress up in shoulder pads and spandex, and call themselves "tight ends" and "Wide Receivers"

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pat_Tillman

"On September 19, 2004, at their home opener for the 2004 season, the Arizona Cardinals retired number 40, Tillman's number. All of the players in the league wore a number 40 sticker on their helmets in recognition of Tillman."

I think the original poster misstated - the fine is *probably* if players do not wear the #40 sticker, not if they wear #40 on their jersey...
