Kerry: Allawi Abets Bush in Putting on 'Best Face'
Reuters ^ | Sep 23, 2004 | Patricia Wilson

Posted on 09/23/2004 4:38:37 PM PDT by The Real Indepman

He calls Allawi (Iraqi Prime Minister) and President Bush liars. It seems Kerry accusses Bush of showing contempt to world leaders, yet the only leaders Kerry seems to support these days are those who show contempt to the US.

Other than Saddam Hussiem, I've never heard Bush call any World leader a liar or alienate them as Kerry did to Allawi today...

Amazing, isn't he? Kerry. He could have shown some class, if he even has any, and actually shown up to hear Allawi speak.

Damn straight! While his campaign talking heads try to drum up "AWOL" charges against President Bush and his guard duty,,the Senator from Mass NEVER shows up for his job....but he's not AWOL now is he?

I am embarassed that Comrade Kerry made those remarks. Kerry isn't fit to carry Alawi's boots!

Just curious... not trying to be a jerk or anything.

Why the sudden "anal retention" with posts and stuff?

In his first unofficial move in the field of diplomacy, Kerry has tanked any hope of a positive relationship with the new Iraq. I guess any country that he perceives as a Bush ally won't have diplomatic ties to the Kerry Regime. So much for his vision of repairing America's relations overseas.

Today, John Kerry echoed the sentiments of the people who are beheading Americans on video tape and putting them on the internet.

By basically calling Allawi a puppet and a liar, he said EXACTLY what Abu Masab Al-Zarqawi is saying on a daily basis. Only Kerry said it in clear English.

Kerry is doing exactly what he did when he came back from Vietnam. Undermining our troops and our allies DURING wartime.

Why the sudden "anal retention" with posts and stuff?

If you don't use the original titles, it makes it very difficult to search for an article later.

Also, not attributing the story is plaigarism.

If you think FR is too anal, start your own website where posters can do whatever the hell they want.

And, the rules are not "sudden." I've been here six years, and they've always been enforced.

How do you figure he approves, encourages, or supports America and her troops with his Doom and Gloom?
Its quite the opposite - he just encourages America's enemies.

I just noticed a crack down lately.

There are too many newbies posting too many vanities, and too many newbies posting articles and just putting whatever title they want on it.

Even when Kerry's French cousins were taking oil for food blood money for weapon sales to Sadamn, President Bush did not directly insult those leaders.

Today those very same weapons from Kerry's Frog cousins are being used to kill our American and coalition troops that the Frogs and Krauts sold to the brutal dictator.

Never forget, Russia, China, France, and Germany were responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths of Iraqi children, the old and the infirm. That oil for food money siphoned off was to be used for food and medicine for the most vulnerable. The Frogs and others took the blood money, they had blood on their hands then, and they have American blood on their hands this very day.

What a shameless sales job of Reuters, trying to convince the world that Iraq is just the biggest hell-hole on earth.

This is just like Vietnam, where cBS's Walter Cronkite convinced the people that we had lost the war, so we might as well surrender.

It was cBS then, and it's cBS now.

Kerry's just mad because Allawi won't do the same for Te-RE-za.

Kerry snubbed Mr. Allawi today even tho the PM may be elected the next leader of Iraq. So much for Kerry's vaunted claim to superior skills in the relationship department. Both John Kerry and John Edwards were senators before they became political candidates and should have been at the speech today to listen to this brave man. Mr. Allawi has survived Saddam's horrors and faces death each minute of the day because he has accepted the interim leadership of his country. What really impressed me was a foreign leader who came to America to say THANK YOU AMERICA. Maybe Kerry Edwards were too ashamed to face Mr. Allawi. As they should have been.

Kerry is absolutely disgarceful.

Neither Kerry nor Edwards were present to hear Allawi speak. Allawi, mind you, is risking his life representing Iraq, but he gets no support, or attaboys, or any thing from Kerry, a representative of his ally, the US.

Oh wait, Kerry said that he (Kerry) has a better understanding of what is going on in Iraq than Allawi.

The Massachusetts senator questioned assertions by Allawi, a key ally of the Bush administration, that Iraq would hold elections in January despite the flaring insurgency and that "we are succeeding in Iraq."

"I think the prime minister is obviously contradicting his own statement of a few days ago when he said that terrorists are pouring into the country," Kerry told reporters.

This is stunning and childish. Does Kerry have someone to take over Iraq if he is elected? Because he has just labeled Allawi a Bush supporter and there is no way he can lead with Kerry as president. Also, Allawi is not a "key Bush ally". He is an ally to the United State of American. What a load of crap.
