The reason Lieberman would never get the nomination is because the Rats largest constituency, blacks, in general don't like to vote for "Jooos."
I don't think she has an interest in reform as much as control. This is also her downfall. This past year, she has been taking very much from the Nixon handbook. The Nixon handbook was destructive for Nixon, but she in her smaller than believable mind thinks that this is how Republicans work.
So far, she only knows how to deal with people who would "yell" at her. She doesn't know how to deal with people that outwit her. Which is part of the reason that she is afraid to go on Fox News.
Speaking of which, he was totally, totally in the tank for John McCain, which may or may not temper some of the enthusiasm for Mr. Cadell that seems to run rampant in these kind of threads.
that isn't even a choice i'd take Joe Liebermann in a minute over McCain...
You're right. I'd say Lieberman has more integrity than McCain. However, I was a little disappointed in him when he ran w/Goron for he "buckled" to some of Goron's lies to be on the ticket and show uniformity. He had no choice at that point, IMO.
Hope we never have that choice, however. McCain could never get the Rep. nomination. I'd bet on Arnold (if the laws change) before McCain.
Operation Infinite DUmmyBefuddle in progress.
Show up at Democratic Underground, post as a new DUmmie and say things like "Kerry needs to get on message', "Forget it, I am voting for Nader instead, at least that way I am voting my conscience"
"Dean was a far better campaigner than this"
Make up good ones, so you can slip by the kommisars.
Agreed, but if she isn't going to create some kind of faux reform, what is this insanity all about. I always get nervous when the enemy falls too easily. They are just acting nutty.
Pat Caddell made his mark as a pollster for George McGovern back in '72. He was honest then, too, and an idealist.
I watched him qietly stand apart from his party during the Clinton debacle years. He's always been honest, used to be a liberal. Has grown up (haven't we all) during the years, but never lost the old Damocrat idealism.
Pinz
That's the sad truth, ain't it?
They fall easily because they don't understand the inability to persuade by shouting at someone. They also are more prone to thin skinned leadership, which gives the Republicans an edge.
Much better to leave them alone. The madder they get, the better for us as they alienate almost everyone.
He's right, of course.
If the Dems were Americans like they used to be, they would be behind Bush on the war 100%. They would campaign strictly on domestice issues, act statesmanlike on foreign policy, and try to get the voters to split their tickets, thus probably winning the Senate.
Thank goodness they're not playing it this way!
I was watching this and about fell out of my chair!!! I was jumping up and down just about as much as when Zell Miller was speaking at the RNC !!!! GO PAT......we now have a great team.......PAT N'ZELL !!!!!
I worry that McCain will become a Bush cabinet member and will thus have virtual incumbency in 08. Hopefully there ewill be othermore palatable peeople with the incumbent factor. Anyone heard if Bill Owens is being wooed?
sorry, my eeeee key is permanently deeeepreseed
The Miller/Cadell Show comming to FOX soon! :D LOL 1 duel a week! hehehehehe!
LOL, I know, she was absolutely horrific that night.
Its fun though to make them madder and depressed about us faux-democrats being disgusted
