A gigantic bed with some skinny, doped up, pimply faced weenie in a chicken suit hiding under it.

Yep, every year they have a street fest, commonly referred to by the RCMP as Freak Fest.

Sad that the little village has nothing to memorialize but cowardness.

How did Canada get so full of losers?

I don't know if I would go that far, there are some good conservative folks up there. I've met a few in Alberta.

Anyway, years of Liberal brainwashing starting with their Liberal PM's Pearson, Trudeau, and Chretien, with help from the CBC propaganda machine, made them what they are today.

They aren't necessarily losers, just keeping busy and poor paying the way for at least three immigrants they don't know....it's called multi-culturalism.

What it actually is: They've been hosed by the libs.

"I was pissed when Carter granted them cowards amnesty."

I was pissed when enough folks voted for Carter to put him in office.

I can only think of a handful of American expatriates in Canada that I've met who didn't fall under these categories.

I was there for almost eight years and I hung on (barely). It was pretty tough in University. I swear they hated to hand over my diploma LOL!

What the heck will the sculpture look like?

Dunno, but if it isn't guarded 24/7, it will soon be covered in yellow-stained streaks...

Wrong!

"Robinson grew up and attended school in Burnaby, graduating from Burnaby North. He went on to study science and law at the University of British Columbia (UBC) and did post-graduate studies in England at the London School of Economics. Svend was called to the BC Bar in September 1978."

Born and raised in Vancouver B.C.

Nope. Try again.

http://www.cbc.ca/news/background/robinson_svend/

Svend Robinson was born in the United States in March 1952 to Edith Jensen and Wayne Robinson. In the 1960s Wayne, an English professor, was opposed to the Vietnam War and brought his family to Canada to begin a new life. They eventually settled in British Columbia.

If you don't want to serve in a war...ok. If you want to leave the country to avoid service...ok. When a country builds a memorial to honor your choices, something seems wrong.

I think Canada is too weak to fight the war on terror.

Got that right.

From the time those cowards ran to Canada, that country was so immersed in vicious hatred they opened their arms to the dodgers and these people became their representative heros.

The same thing has happened now with their welcoming the Islamic groups - they will never learn because everything that Canada does is based upon competition with the U.S. and deeply felt hatred which is taught in the schools.

This is one expat Canuck who is getting a U.S.citizenship in the next month or two - born and bred in Vancouver and I don't give a damn if I ever go back there.

I wouldn't spend a dime there unless it was to place a FreeDominion representative bucket for all of us to pay our "respects" in at the memorial to the dodger cowards.
