LOCAL ANTI-KERRY VETS PLAN TRIP TO D.C.

It will be an emotional experience for me. I hope to get into the city early enough that I can visit "The Wall". Gary had wanted me to drive in to it when we were in MD in February but I got chicken when I thought of the traffic and how to find a parking space that was close enough for him. Now I could kick myself for not having made the side trip. We thought that there would be another chance to do it.

I'm looking forward to seeing any of the DC FReepers who are there. Do you meet somewhere before something like this or just come across each other in the crowd?

Carla and I are going to stay a couple of nights at her dad's in Pasadena, MD. On Sunday we will drive in to a Metro station and take the train in and walk. Do you or anyone know of suggestions to make for us?

Did it in the 60's and 70's.Ain't too old to do it again

I just walked through their spit showers and went on with my life. I was 19 and had no idea what the hell was going on. Now I do and now I will stop them from doing the same to these fine men and women. Hell, I haven't been to jail since I was 17 anyway.

Arrived today at Reagan National airport. Was taxiing to the terminal and saw briefly Kerry's jet.
Now, I think I saw some writing on the tail that said, "The Real Deal"
Not sure if I actually saw this; opposite direction taxi, I was on other side of jet.
If I actually saw that slogan perhaps Joe Scarborough should take exception as they stole it from his show.
