Bo Derek was interviewed by Shep Smith of Fox News and said that she couldn't understand why Al-Qaeda is attacking us. If it wasn't for us they would have been part of the Soviet Union.

Mr. Rob - she has a good point. WE stopped Soviet imperialism. They had an agenda to expand SW to the Araian Sea. THEY wanted Iraq, Iran, etc. India used to be a close ally. they went after Afghanistan as a stepping stone. they went after SE ASIA.
Bo is historically corret, demonstrably.
