Senator John Kerry Remarks As Prepared For Delivery Martin Luther King Day Celebration
AfricanAmericans.com ^ | 01/20/03 | John F. Kerry

As reported on Brit Hume's "Special Report" on Wednesday, August 25, 2004.

Kerry, in his speech, said: "I remember well April, 1968 - I was serving in Vietnam -- a place of violence --  when the news reports brought home to me and my crewmates the violence back home - and the tragic news that one of the bullets flying that terrible spring took the life of that unabashedly maladjusted citizen."

What's the problem with this statement by Kerry? In April 1968 John Kerry was onboard the USS Gridley somewhere in the Pacific between Austrialia and California.

From Kerry's "The New Soldier":
Al Hubbard Sgt., 22 Troop Carrier Squadron Aug. ’65-June ’66

Emotions: Walking down the flight line at Saigon past stacks of aluminum cases containing American bodies and past stacks of aluminum luggage containing American currency. Seeing the tight, sad face of an Airman loading the bodies aboard a dirty Air Force Transport and the wide smiling face of a stewardess greeting the passengers aboard a clean Pan American Clipper Jet. Hearing a Vietnamese beg you to leave his country and an American colonel tells you to bomb his country. Hearing a Vietnamese invite you to live in his home, after the war and an American explain why you can’t live in his block, after the war. Flying over barren, brown, safe American held terrain and over lush, green unsafe enemy terrain. Feeling happy to be leaving a country in which you do not belong and sad to be returning to a country in which you are not allowed to belong. Sacrificing a portion of your consciousness so you won’t have to deal with being there and building mental blocks so you won’t have to deal with having been there.

- Al Hubbard, proven fraud who never set foot in Viet Nam. The only Vietnamese he ever met was when he was collaborating with the North Vietnamese in Paris
on the American Communist Party's nickel.
John Kerry's explanation: "He (Hubbard) simply exaggarated his particular position.
But nobody knew it at the time. And those things happen."

The New Soldier, (46 pages)

the Kerrys, the Fondas and Haydens,
the names we knew over there -
they encouraged the enemy to hang on.”

I heard it too. This is HUGH!!! The dirtbag has no shame of course. This one needs "legs" for the African American community! Wish the RNC had the GUTS to do a stinging ad to show this as an example of his and the DNC's contempt for the black voter.

Thanks for posting this. It looks like sKerry rivals Scott Peterson in the self-agrandizment category.

Q: Has Kerry ever tried to hit on a woman by saying he was at the Eiffel Tower with his friends Francois and Pascal? I wouldn't put it past him.

Apparently that was close enough to being in Viet Nam for him.

" "I remember well April, 1968 "

Is it getting clear to any in the MSM that their boy has a huge problem ??
Either Kerry has severe memory problems, is a pathological liar or is mentally unstable.
Perhaps all three.
Kerry's bizarre pattern of a imagining things runs all through Unfit For Command , involving many incidents not getting as much publicity as Cambodia, the Purple Hearts and the medals.
But equally as disturbing.
The public has a right to know if the Democrat candidate is suffering from some type of mental disorder.
He must release all his military and medical records.
This has gone way past an occasional gaffe and into pathology territory.

I served 14 months IN Viet Nam. None of it on a boat out at sea.

That doesnt even make sense.

You were IN Viet Nam or you were some place else.

Kerry is such a phony, it only makes sense if you figure he is the fall guy for the Dems this time around.

From NROTC:

WHERE WAS JK WHEN MLK DIED?[Barbara Comstock]

This was on Fox "Grapevine" tonight:

John Kerry speaking at a Martin Luther King day celebration in Virginia last year said, quote, "I remember well April 1968, I was serving in Vietnam. A place of violence. When the news reports brought home to me and my crew mates the violence back home and the tragic news that one of the bullets flying that terrible spring took the life of Dr. King." That date, of Dr. King's death, was April 4, 1968. According to kerry's website, it was not until November 17, 1968, that he reported for duty in Vietnam.

The problem for us here is that frenchie is being shown to be a liar so often that he may now start to take on a "clinocchio" like aura in that when clinocchio's lies started surfacing, there were sooooo many that it was hard to keep track of them. People got worn out and after a while didn't believe any of the attacks no matter how well proved.

As Grampa Dave said: "Christmas, 1968: Kerry with his Swift Boat Crew
in Scambodia. Kerry is wearing his CIA hat that came from Richard Nixon
a month before Nixon was sworn in as President."
