This is what I was talking about. They open with: "In a reversal of their staunch defense of John Kerry's military service record, Kerry campaign officials were quoted by Fox News saying that it was indeed possible that John Kerry's first Purple Heart commendation was the result of an, unintentional, self-inflicted wound."
I'm looking for the quote from Fox. So far, I've only heard SBVs saying that they said it.
And I don't recall (and didn't see upon rereading) Kerry mentioning the Bay Hap incident at the DNC.
During the Democratic National Convention, Kerry used the Bay Hap River incident to suggest that he alone returned to rescue Jim Rassmann—a Special Forces solider—who was on Kerry's boat and was tossed into the river. Kerry described this incident to the American people as "No man left behind."

You know... I always worry about the stuff that independent campaigns do TO the candidate, rather than FOR the candidate. But in this case, they're making sure Kerry
IS the issue. None of the other issues will matter!!!
As you and I know... Nothing is more deadly to a candidate than RIDICULE!!!
It's the most poisonous virus in politics!!!

Absolutely right. Kerry hasn't quite had his Dukakis moment, but he came pretty close with the bunny suit. I think he's on very thin ice.
