BTW, Major Garrett's report on Fox tonight (during Brit) reported on the first purple heart, which Doug just spoke about. Garrett said that Kerry's own journal 10 days after that incident has an entry that he and his crew had not received any enemy fire yet. Garrett went on to say that someone in the Kerry campaign did concede that MAYBE Kerry's first purple heart was due to an accidentally self-inflicted wound. I hope someone else heard this report.
(I'll add I was disappointed Garrett showed Odell on with Wallace yesterday and the clip where Odell says he has no document to back up an assertion, but Garrett ommitted the rest where Odell goes on to say that he does have 7 eyewitnesses that back him up. Garrett chose the "however one Kerry critic has no evidence to back up his claim" angle when that is not true. Eyewitnesses are used in a court of law!)
He is that author of "Tour of Duty." He should be sweating. Remember how, a week ago, he was, via Drudge, to report that Kerry had been in Cambodia? Never came out publicly though. He's sweating because he knows he's trapped, and probably concerned about his own credibility.
