This is a little different. He's for Bush but he isn't using concerts for anti-Kerry platforms.

5 month s out of date, but I thought I would reply anyway (followed link looking for something else). Your "conversion" of Alice Cooper is incorrect. Vince (Alice) became a Christian long before Columbine. I interviewed him in 1994, He was born again in 1992, not 1999, while his wife was pregnant with thier youngest child. The Last Temptation was his first album after his conversion. Just an FYI.

Without researching his biography, I believe Alice (not his real name) has had many come to Jesus moments. The story I relate is true, albeit a victim of secondhand retelling, and reflects the fact that we are all purchased for a price. The Lord continues to reveal himself to each believer, each according to His grace, and according to that believer's ability to consume such grace.
The Holy Spirit is alive, and I am certain that Alice's faith was transformed at the incident that I describe in just the manner that the Holy Spirit required that Alice's faith be deepened at that point in his life.
You see, I too was "born again" before Columbine. But I was transformed again in a series of incidents related to the Martyrs of Columbine.
The words that I wrote "formative "come to Jesus" moment"
May imply a primary, singular "Born Again" moment, but that was not exactly what I meant. I am glad that you read my reply, and that you took the time to respond. I hope you will join me in praying for Alice's protege - Marilyn Manson (Not his real name). The life story of Marilyn is similar to Alice, and the events of Columbine continue to weigh heavily upon the soul of this man and his blasphemies.

I wasn't denying your account. After thinking about it, I think we are defining similar things in different terms. First off, Alice's given name is Vince Damion Furnier. His conversion story is in the book "Rock Stars on God" by Doug Van Pelt and relates a different story and matches the story Coop (Alice) told me in 1994. I believe we only have one "come to Jesus" moment, that is the moment we are saved, when we turn over our lives to Jesus Christ and accept the salvation he purchased with His blood on the cross. However, since we are all sinners, Christians have moments where we are convicted of something and ask the Lord to change our hearts and lives regarding some specific sin. It is possible that the story you relate is a moment of conviction, rather than a moment of salvation. So yeah, we agree.
