This is a hoot. I guess the Germans thought we would just sit there pumping money into their economy. They should have noticed by now the USSR has gone away.

My take, bring all the European based troops home, then bring all the Korean based troops home. With todays battlefield, you really don't need troops in the field as sitting ducks. If N. Korea uses nukes, just nuke 'em. Same for Iran. The respective countries can defend their own turf.

Afghanistan and Iraq need our help and want us there. So that seems to be the best place to station our troops for now.

... And now Europe is building a fence to keep out undesirables. How noble of them, right after condemning Israel for doing the same thing.
