I do not know that they will ... but the most likely way would be in a conference bill to conform the House and Senate versions of a bill.
Man, that press release is just... sad. And I mean just unhinged-from-reality pathetic.

I've always considered the extra features available on the "preban" AR-15 rifles to be of little use to a fellow like myself, with perhaps the possible exception of a flash suppressor and that only if there is a far more serious collapse of civilization than I think is even remotely likely. I just don't need a folding or collapsable stock, and a bayonet mount is something for which I would have no use whatsoever.
I do, however, applaud the coming expiration of this idiotic and poorly conceived law. It never did anything to protect the public and it served only to annoy law abiding folks.
