No.
It will be Washington, REAGAN, and Bush 43.
Don't include that liberal scumbag Lincoln in with the great presidents.
To: The Wizard
Right, but remember what happened to Winston Churchill in 1945.
To: Mr. Jeeves
I do, but I believe GWB Walks with the Lord.....

AMEN and to hell with the naysayers.

I believe you're right Wiz. From laying the groundwork for a democratic middle east, to destroying radical Islam, to revitalizing the economy, his presidency will be recorded as one of historic proportions. And that is indeed why they hate him so.

Don't include that liberal scumbag Lincoln in with the great presidents.Lincoln managed to preserve the Union.
Whether one loves or hates his methods, the US's existence as one nation is owed primarily to his efforts.
He will always be one of the greatest US Presidents because he managed not to be the last US President.

Yep. I believe that also. And if GW neutralizes The Syrian/Lebanon/Palestine/Iran terrorist connection in the next 4 years its going to be difficult to get a Dem elected President unless the economy is in the crapper.

he managed not to be the last US President. Nonsense!
The U.S.A. would have continued to exist without Abe's war, it just would have been several states smaller.

There will never be peace in the Middle East.
But I still hope that Reagan and Dubya end up on the Truly Great list.

EXACTLY!
The USA never stopped existing, it was just halved.
For four years there were two countries.
Lincoln INVADED a foreign country, conquered it, and expanded the US into its borders. Pure and simple.
Lincoln also took a whiz all over the Constitution and created the central Federal government, trampling state sovereignty and rights in the process.
Don't get me wrong, I was born in 1966 in AMERICA -- all this happened before my time and I am an American. But I won't whitewash history to make Lincoln out to be something he clearly was not.

Right, but remember what happened to Winston Churchill in 1945.Yes.
But history has deemed him to be perhaps the greatest Prime Minister Britain ever had and his successor, Clement Attlee, when he is remembered at all, is remembered as the chief dismantler of the Empire and the man who kept Britons on ration cards six years after WWII ended.

That's what the Democrat version would be.

In time, the South would have learned the error of their ways and returned to the union. Just your subjective best guess, not a fact. We will never know.

The U.S.A. would have continued to exist without Abe's war, it just would have been several states smaller. And a house that has had one of its outer walls ripped away would still continue to exist, it just would be better-ventilated.
The US is not the US without the South. That's not what the founders envisioned and that's not how Americans think of their country.

Lincoln felt it was his divine duty to hold the Union together, and he did.
He should be remembered for this.
But yes, Reagan should be added.
And I think it will be more than 25 years, but Dubya will be recalled positively in the future.
