How many g*d-d*mned times are we going to have this posted in a "new" thread?

I heard that all the other Freepers had a meeting when you were taking a leak and decided to post the Kerry picture with the marine over and over as a "new thread" until your head exploded. I recall someone specifically saying "I want DCPatriot's head to explode in a million pieces".

They all wanted to wait and see a news story in the paper that says "mans head suddenly explodes all over computer keyboard". I just could not live with that so I had to tell you all of this. I'm so ashamed I waited. I hope it's not too late! Are you still there? Hello? DCPatriot??? Hello??

Oh no.....

There are only 3 fingers bent back. It is easy to see if you zoom it in Photoshop.

The fingers are in the correct configuration for only 3 pulled back. Try it yourself. You will see that your ring finger extends further out than your middle finger and your pinkie is shorter than either one. If you bend your pointer finger back, it lines up about with your pinkie

Plus the Marine's shirt is obviously behind the finger.

If it was Photoshopped, it was put up that way on the Yahoo photo site. I pulled a copy from there to look at it.

Kerry could clean his boots.......

He's saying the pointing finger is an arch. piece in the background and that four fingers are bent down.

I'm with you. Don't see it.

Whatever about the fingers, the look on the Marines face speaks volumes. He is not happy and that certainly would not be as easy to photoshop (at least for me).

Does anyone have any dialogue or info about this photo?

I think it went something like this....

KERRY: Blah, blah, blah...

MARINE: Yes, Sir!

KERRY: Blah, blah, blah...

MARINE: Yes, Sir!

KERRY: Blah, blah, blah...

MARINE: Yes, Sir!

(Sen. Kerry walks away)

MARINE: (sotto voce) What a FReepin' tool!

Those Marines did well. These candidates that interrupt weddings and lunches and all that have a lot of nerve. Kerry is NOT their Commander In Chief anyway. Right now all he is is a guy out there stomping for the job and that's as far as it goes.

I looked at this photo over and over in Photoshop 7.0

At first thought he was trying to hand the Marine a small brochure or booklet, but the more I looked at it, the more it became clear (at least to me).

The writer's explanation that it's some sort of window treatment or something is completely wrong. If so, it would continue past the left side of Lurch's hand.

Couple all this with Lurch's propensity to point at everything and everyone, and I think we all know...

It's a FINGER!

Me too. The "digit" in question is in front of the Marine's shirt.

It is obviously a finger. What kind of "architectural element" would Wendy's put in the middle of a plate glass window? And how would that "architectural element" wind up in front of the Marine's sholder?

This guy is spinnin' faster than a top!

Actually, this is not john fetid kerry's finger at all...it is a working prototype of the new, cost effective sidearm he will be issuing to the military if he gets elected.

Isn't there sort of an inexplicable quote from A Christmas Story (one of the best movies ever), where poor Darrin McGavin utters "Not a Finger!!!" after he realizes his leg lamp is broken and his wife used all the glue?

Maybe this will be Lurch's new campaign slogan.
