I remember someone writing a long time ago about politicians throwing out opening pitches. He said "you'd think all these guys played baseball at some point in their lives, so why are most of them so horrible at a simple 60-foot toss?"

This is one in a bunch of gaffs for his campaign. His front people should have found out if he could throw long enough, and mark his position for him.

I guess his baseball talk is weak too! Kerry proved his love of the Red Sox was strictly imaginary.

Oddly enough when Bush threw a pitch in a game, right after 9/11, he went to the mound and threw a strike.
