Many are the Freepers who would advocate the same proposal for Jesus Christ.
I've been a FReeper four years and I have never seen any such proposal advocated here. And I'm not a Christian.
How does one defame a murderous pedophile (PBHU)?
Less the televised head chopping....
The point is that if Christians had brought a proposal of this nature, all demorat hell would have broken out. But since it's the muslims, they might actually consider it.
Uh, no! Believing in Jesus is a choice one must make on his own, it is an internal decision. Unlike islam where conversion by sword or your death is quite acceptable.
Maybe you could point out the post or the poster?
I have been around here more than 6 years and have never seen it.
You made the claim, not back it up.
Prove it. This site has a search engine, I am sure you should be able to find proof that "many" have advocated what you said.
Put up or shut up.
You are such a liar!
You made quite a statement....The very least you could do is explain it.
FWIW-
As a legal crime?? From the UN??
Who would ask for that?
Name one, hotshot. We'll wait patiently.
Actually, FReepers believe in free speech.
Spoken like a true athiest. Well, almost. A true atheist would know better than to tickle the dragon's tail, unless you have an agenda.
Your tone remimds me of the poster that was banned yesterday, the atheist that posted the article comparing the truth about Mo's history to trumped up BS about the bible.
Why are you here? Why do you submit yourself to being surrounded by those who submit to the will of their God?
Well, I had a whole list of posts, culled mainly from Roy Moore threads and the argument over the "Christian nation" provision in the Texas Republican Party platform, but, honestly, for an example of a person who would probably advocate making the defamation of Jesus illegal, HipShot's post #71 in this thread takes the prize. The tie-breaker was the vague threats of banning, just like some person or other who had dared to argue about the Bible on another thread. The hallmark of authoritarianism is not disagreement about issues, but about whether there should be a discussion at all.
FR has more than its fair share of would-be theocrats, and it's hypocritical for them to complain about Islam taking the same hysterical approach. For the flip side of the coin, see imagine's nutty kill-them-all-and-forcibly-convert-their-children post at this link.
Your post infers Christian FReepers are a bunch of intolerant, ignorant, zealots. I think you need to re-think your assessment.
Or else look in the mirror.
That is a lie!!!!
Name one.
Oh really? Name one.
Free will is the gift that the mohammadens will never understand nor receive. It makes all the difference.
It benefits Christians not at all to force their religion on anyone, ever.
"Many are the Freepers who would advocate the same proposal for Jesus Christ."
LOL!!
Buddy, that's has to be one of the more loony and baseless posts I've seen on Free Republic in my five years registered here, and it's obvious from the responses in the Forum the Christian majority here is giving you a pass on your waste of bandwidth.
Rather, "...Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you." (Matthew 5:11-12)
See? No calls for U.N. mandates and blasphemy laws, and in the case of radical Islam, beheadings for offenders who insult the "prophet."

That's a bald faced, slimeball, lie.
baloney.
<< Many are the Freepers who would advocate the same proposal for Jesus Christ. >>
1. Name even one of them or;
2. Otherwise convince us your baseless libel is not but evidence, in you, of yet another case of the involuntary emergence of the definitive symptom of the liberal disease: -- [Psycho?]pathological projection syndrome.
Well let's just wait and see how many pop out of the woodwork to embrace that idea.
Name one.
That's total bullcrap, and you know it.
The Son of God does not need an international law of man, to defend his honor.
