Mary Beth Cahill says that the photo was leaked by someone at NASA, that there were no official photographers and no campaign plans to take any photos.

Are they saying they didn't know their pictures were being taken, or that NASA took the pictures and weren't supposed to release them.
If that's the case, then why take them?

NASA did not give the photos to the press, but the press must have gone to the NASA website and looked at the pictures that the Kerry campaign approved. Hah!

And if it is an official NASA photo, what does it really matter if it is "leaked" or officially released? Did the Kerry Kampaign have an agreement with NASA that the Kampaign would be allowed to clear the photos before release?

I would not be too sure of that. Recall during the impeachment that Glenn was in lockstep, defending Mr. Hillary, and then later received his reward with a ride in the space shuttle.
