Today, Hamtramck. Tomorrow, your city, your synagogue, your church.....just like in the land of the Saudi family where Judao-Christian practices are banished.

There's an enormous mosque being built less than 1/2 mile from my home here in Boston

Mayor Tom "Mumbles" Menino practically gave the city owned land away and Saudi money is building it.

The minaretts are supposed to be 120ft high and undoubtedly will call the Islamfascists to prayer with amplifiers.

Diversity is a beautiful thing.

This story reminds me of the quote of Kruschev back in the 60's that the US would be overtaken without a shot being fired. Here a community is held at bay. And there is no end in sight.

Little did it occur to the Founders that government would set immigrant policy so vague as to allow into America contagious human disease, criminal trespassers, and religious zealots whose beliefs directly conflict with Judeao-Christian Western culture standards and beliefs.

Everyone,
I rather THEY not broadcast their call to prayer. The city said it was equivilent to that of the the bell on a Church that why the ordinance was passed in the first place. I didn't think so. Loud broadcast of something in Arabic in 2 minutes several times a day is not the same as a sound of a bell.
My company even let these people take 2 hours off every Friday to go to their prayer thing. If that isn't a special treatment, I don't know what. I never seent a Christian, Jew, Hindu, or Buddhist making these much noise.

Seems to me they could get out there and call in person, but loudspeakers should be banned everywhere.

I think it's ironic to see the woman in her full robes and headscarf coming out of the voting booth. Would she have this amount of freedom in the country from which she came?

I have not heard church bells for Sunday services in years.
The noise from the bells offended the Saturday nite drunks.
You only need one person to be offended by the noise of the call to prayers. Hopefully it will be take to the supreme court to protect that one person from being forced to listen to it.

and the funny thing is that after the revolution, they deported all the appeasers and sympathizers which amounted to 1/3 of the entire population.

Where are the atheists at the ACLU when you really need them?

The atheists at the ACLU don't support the free practice of a religion, unless it's Islam. You should know that.

"But Robert Wicke, 66, said prohibiting the call to prayer would deny Muslims a basic right."

Forcing people to listen to a "allah is great" proselytizing speech for 2 minutes is a right?

Well lovely, just frickin' lovely.

On the positive side this sort of lunacy will only last until next big attack.

That's the thing about muslims, they are just going to view this, not as an attempt at compromise, but as a sign of weakness.

After the next terrorist "cultural expression" they are going to learn just how wrong they are.

That has already been accomplished. Many of the planks of the Communist Manifesto have been implemented in America, without any significant opposition. We were too busy being entertained to take notice of what was going on within our own education cartel; within the media, and within the government. Interstates here in New England now have PERMANENT Border Patrol "checkpoints" established, and the American sheep just file through with nary a complaint. Baaaaa...baaaaaaa.

I remember a time in my hometown when a protestant church--can't remember which one--starting playing hymns over a loud speaker every night. The music was lovely--but apparently someone complained--and after about a week, they were silenced. It may have been overkill--if they had played it only on Sunday, perhaps no one would have complained.

I cannot imagine having to listen to something in Islamic being broadcast across the city several times a day. I should think that would be right up there with water torture!

Loud broadcast of something in Arabic in 2 minutes several times a day is not the same as a sound of a bell.

The solution is very simple... have all the church bells start ringing about 30 seconds into their friday prayers. :)

Muslim mobs burn Christian homes: Attack began at 3 a.m., continued until all were destroyed

This terrorism took place in Maluku, Indonesia which has been about half Christian and half Muslim.

Similar to the present voting demographics of Hamtramck, Michigan.

But that can never happen in America..... or can it???

"Hamtramck is going to be a pioneer city for the whole United States." (Masud Khan, of the Al-Islah Islamic Center)

THE PRAYER

Allahu Akbar
Allah is the greatest
Allah is the greatest
Allah is the greatest
Allah is the greatest

Ash-hadu alla ilaha illallah
I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah
I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except Allah

Ash-hadu anna Muhammadar Rasulullah
I bear witness that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah
I bear witness that Muhammad is the messenger of Allah

Hayya alassalah
Come to prayer
Come to prayer

Hayya alal-Falah
Come to success
Come to success

Allahu Akbar
Allah is the greatest
Allah is the greatest

La ilaha illallah
There is none worthy of worship except Allah

Let them have another vote....Should church bells ring for two minutes every day (the same time the Islamic Call to Prayer is broadcast?)

If that second vote passed, it would be very interesting to see who jumped into the mix. Lines would definitely be drawn then.
