"ichudson...Troll Since Jul 28, 2004?

Actually, ichudson is a returning bannee who registered as "ihudson" on July 19 and got bounced the next day as an obvious troll when she took up the defense of Jane Fonda's trip to Hanoi.

" So if she says things we like, she is allowed to talk. If she doesn't, she is not."

No, she is allowed to talk as much as she wishes no matter what you, I or the man in the moon thinks about it. And those who provide her livelyhood are afforded the same privilege. They are allowed to voice their agreement or disagreement with what she says and some in the crowd in Vegas did agree with her, would you have silenced those people too?

You wish the world to be a place where an individual can act without consquences.

I wish the world to be a place where people are free (with certain exceptions) to do as they wish and take responsibility for their actions instead of whining about being "persecuted".

It's called personal responsibility, look into it.

Well, according to your most recent incoherent, irrational post, and according to your apparent completely willful disregard of the Constitution, and the formal definition of the crime of treason contained therein, no one is EVER a traitor.

Of course, that thoroughly logical result of the substance, such as it is, of your commentary, is unquestionably lost on you.

So, vote for al-Querry, I really don't care whether you do or don't. Just, please, if you would be so kind, don't ever waste anyone's time again trying to persuade them that your mental processes have anything at all to do with rationality.

Enjoy your Thorazine, and good-bye.

What is it that attracts you to Kerry?

What do you think he will do for the US?

Were you born here or adopted the US?

What do you think of Alexis de Tocqueville?

**The fact that John Kerry spent his years in military service killing Vietcong should be evidence enough that he has never intentionally thought of "siding with the enemy".**

Clean up on aisle 6...

AM - It appears our noxious little troll, ihudson (from earlier in this thread), has reappeared as the poorly costumed "ichudson". Is it possible that she is actually Linda Ronstadt in drag? The similarities are uncanny as both Ronstadt and ihudson had to be escorted to the door and thrown off the property.

Please let me know if you want ON or OFF my Viking Kitty/ZOT ping list!. . .don't be shy.

I am appalled that you would ask some to abandon their beliefs just to watch an artist. Just as much as that artist has a right to say what the feel. It is a much of right of the people to disagree with what she says in there own way, or react like they did in vegas.. walking out...

I am sorry if we cannot conform to the thought that everyone should just be accepted and we should be a happy about it. But we have as much of a right to sit here with like minded people and sling comments about, as Linda does to praise fatso moore.

So get off your soapbox, and either think that you are posting to people that are going to disagree with you and accept what comes your way, or perhaps you should try to find a site that is more to your taste.

Thanks have a good day and if you nice enough. you might not get ZOTTED! but I doubt that because I know that you have to be back before curfew at the DU

The fact that John Kerry spent his years in military service killing Vietcong should be evidence enough that he has never intentionally thought of "siding with the enemy".

No, John Fonda Kerry spent a few WEEKS in military service, allegedly killing ONE Vietcong boy who had already been shot with a .50 caliber machine gun.

Kerry enlisted only after learning that he was out of deferments and would be drafted anyway. Once in, he nominated himself for three purple hearts for three different "injuries" with combined treatment of less than one day of hospitalization. In one of those applications, his superior officer refused to approve the application and Kerry had to go around him to get the bogus award. Imagine a Purple Heart for an "injury" that amounted to a splinter that was removed with a pair of tweezers, had a little bactine sprayed on it and a bandaid applied.

Then as soon as Kerry was back home he enlisted with a marxist organization opposing the war and testified before Congress accusing his fellow soldiers of committing heinous war crimes.

Sorry, but his years weeks of "military service" do not even come close to offsetting his YEARS of opposing our military and supporting our enemies.

"I have lived internationally and considered it my responsibility to correct many fallacies people in other countries have about our nation."

1.) How is it your responsibility to correct the fallacies of other people of other nations? let them think what they want. They are going to anyway 5 minutes after your out of their face. I spent quite a bit of time overseas also. I don't see where internationally we are misunderstood or there are false conceptions about the US. Yes some countries see us a world bully. It happens. As a country, as the strongest country there is nothing that we gain by appeasement to foreign powers.
2.)Foreign policy is a joke. Most of the last 40 years of forgien policy has by one side or the other been viewed as a joke. I am not saying that the attempt at have solid foreign policy is a bad idea, but it goes back to appeasement versus strength projection. And when it comes to that I would rather be on the side that has strength projection. Seriously France is a fine example of where 80 years of appeasement will get you.
3.) With us or against us. You may think that in this world constructive debate in an international congress or body will solve the worlds problems. The U.N. is a fine example of the fact that this does not work and that to lay the safety and well being of this country in the U.N. hands is a danger we cannot afford to take.

You may ask what this has to do with your post?

Well first I wanted to direct the comment about correcting fallacies of people around the world about the U.S. .... you consider them fallacies they consider them facts so be it you are not going to change the worlds mind.

Second.... Yes America has made mistakes in foreign policy.. welcome to the real world everyone makes mistakes in foreign policy as well as domestic policy.. personally I think that the assault weapons ban was a mistake in domestic policy.. it left the criminal element more well armed then the cops.. ask the lapd about that.. the had to use 50+ cops with pistols to pursue 2 well armed bank robbers. So negative views are in the eyes of the behold and if the change is to occurs it is from their perception not someone trying to tell them to change it.

Lastly.... just because you kill someone designated as the enemy does not mean that you are total devoted to the ideals of the country you are fighting for. I think to get the heart of this whole issue. John Kerry has been and always will be a political opportunist. This is evident is several comments that have been made by himself, and his actions. when the opportunism trumps security of country and fellow man that rises to the levels of treason. His statements of willingness to turn the security of the US over to the UN, that directly takes the security of this country away from the people. that is treason. His activities of the early 70's I would have also viewed as treason, he intentional mislead congress and the people of the united states in the investigations into war crimes in Vietnam. I myself think that John Kerry is nothing more than an opportunist, America has had several people like that, Benedict Arnold, Alger Hiss, The Rosenbergs... What have the done? Betrayed there country.... John Kerry has done it before, and made statements that he is willing to do it again. I think the least that should be concerning is weather he is titled with a "hate-label" And I think good review outside what the media feeds everyone about him is in order, and lets see if he is really qualified to Joe America...
