Check out the new age, pyramid crystal, tree hugging
guy (yes, a guy, how retro), who represents Sedona in the Arizona state House of Representatives. He look like a dangerous counter culture type to me.

Re the
Right designation' from the Democrat 'Left'. . .and the 'Forty-five Goals of the Communist Party':from "The Naked Communist", pp 259-262, Author W. Cleon Skousen, Nov. 1961.
Goal 11. Promote the U.N. as the only hope for mankind. If its charter is rewritten, demand that it be set up as one-world government with its own independent armed forces.
as well as the following re UN. .
[Goal 7. Grant recognition of Red China. Admission of Red China to the U.N. .
Goal 10. Allow all Soviet satellites individual representation in the U.N. [page 260]
Goal 29. Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old-fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a world-wide basis.]
Seems to me, by this Democrat's description; 'johneffen' is a Right-winger. . .rather than the 'Left-winger' we know him to be.

I'm surprised there's many Republicans in Sedona, some of its denizens make Santa Feans look uptight by comparison. Although this is an artistic town, there are lots of Republicans here - even Christians. Could you be thinking of Bisbee?

I've been to Bisbee, too, but aside from the usual "art gallery" types, it didn't strike me as leftist as Sedona. I presume Bisbee may be more 'Rat because of its union/mining history.
