And, I don't recall seeing it. My mistake. It was a secret service (not FBI) agent who perjured himself at Martha's trial.

Secret Service Agent Charged With Perjury in Stewart Trial

Friday, May 21, 2004

NEW YORK — Federal authorities Friday charged a national ink expert who testified at the Martha Stewart (search) trial with perjury, accusing him of giving false testimony and raising questions of whether her conspiracy conviction could be thrown out.

Exerpted. [link to article on Fox News site]

Oh. And he was charged, I see.

I thought you said they get away with it. This guy didn't get away with it.

Point taken, but he "got away with it" with respect to Martha's trial. The judge refused to declare a mistrial, saying "His testimony wouldn't have changed the jury's mind anyway".

And they call Martha Stewart arrogant...

And of course we know that Clinton got away without spending a day in jail for perjuring himself on the stand under oath, something Martha never did.

So if you are trying to say that there is a not a double standard at work here, I disagree.

Let me get this straight...if I'm a pompous ass, then I should get a stiffer sentence? The way I read your original statement, I should get jail time for being a pompous ass, right?

I told you it doesn't matter what I think.

Here's what - knock over a Piggly Wiggly & get yourself in front of a judge. Then shoot your mouth off.

At sentencing time see if you get the minimum or the maximum punishment.

She doesn't have to "steal a car",but she can always use one of her SUVs,again,to try to run over some poor under gardener,of her neighbors'. :-)

I would be very pleased and happy to explain that to you,in detail, and why Hillary can't be prosecuted for that, but how the trader WAS guilty, caught, and prosecuted for his actions.

I just spent 3 years in probate court for a estate worth $100,000.00. The attorneys fees were $40,000.00. The judge was a clown. The appointed attorney was an idiot, and the three years of my life were wasted.

No justice served in the judicial system. I would have preferred taking it out of the little freaks hide for what he stole from my brothers and sisters.

More satisfaction.

OK. Technically your are right.
I should have said "It was a matter of you violating Federal laws."
Martha did wrong. She was charged. Defended herself against the charges. A jury found her guilty. And yet she still displays poor character by not admitting her wrongdoings. Like it or not she is going to jail for being found guilty of violating federal laws.
