My voter's registration card says I'm Republican.
Anyone who accepts this offer still puts money into Michael Moore's pocket and makes it more likely that others will imitate him.
I know in advance that excreta reeks.
Doesn't mean I have to go looking to confirm it.
If my life depended on seeing that hate....I would rather die..yuchhh
"He says the film is 'fantastic'"
As in "of or related to fantasy"?
I don't understand these people who openly admit the film is flawed, biased, full of lies, and in the next breath say "But it's a great movie. Everyone should see it!" Why? So MM's pockets will be lined? Sorry, I gotta see a man about a dog.
so on Saturday he's offering to buy tickets for any card-carrying Republicans who want to see it at a special showing.Faden says he's not trying to convince anyone that director Michael Moore is right. He says the film is "fantastic" but also "fantastically flawed."
A local Republican leader is praising Faden for trying to open up the debate about the film.
However, Faden may not be able to fill his theater, even for "free".
A C-N-N - U-S-A Today - Gallup poll finds that 63 percent of Republicans who were surveyed have no plans to see the movie.
A better statistic to cite would be that attendence for this film has severely dropped off since the film opened late last month:

He'd have a hard time packing the theater (and selling refreshments) even if he was giving out tickets to liberals. This film has drawn it's audience and is on the way out.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but won't this still be supporting Michael Moore financially?
It won't be long before they'll need to pay people to watch Moore's garbage. If there's another terror attack Moore will be the most hated creature in America.
The movie is nothing but warmed-over Bush hatred, set to pictures - we've heard it all before, why waste the time?......
Pray for W and The Truth
If you are a Republican and don't want to support Mr. Moore, and you want to see the movie, buy a ticket to another film at the Multiplex and then walk into his movie. You will not be supporting him, but another director. JUST A THOUGHT
but then I'd have to hunt down and beaaaaaaatch slap a certain heifer.
And I don't have the time.
I couldn't, not for all the anti-emetics in the world. My husband is already alarmed at how much I've been screaming at the TV lately. He's begging me to turn off FR and all the news channels until 2 weeks before the elections.

But what would be the odds of getting barfed on with a house full of republicans at the Moore flick? This has got to be a REAL barf bag alert.
LOL, true!
There was another thread suggesting conservatives go see this to jeer and turn it into a Rocky Horror Picture Show. Actually, it would be fun. At a certain stupid line everybody yells "Toast!" and throws up pieces of toast, etc.
At the footage of the Air Force Major's funeral everybody stands up and sings the National Anthem. Etc. But I guess there's some stuff too awful to jeer at.
Something fishy there.
Who is this unidentified(perhaps nonexitent) "local Republican"?
Hmmm...?
Arsenic in the popcorn!!!
