Liberal Tom Hanks got a sudden yen to honor WWII vets after staring in Private Ryan, popping up at the WWII memorial opening and The D-Day commemorations in France. Most of us have been honoring WWII vets all along.
The most recent decline is attributable to the 2002 Supreme Court decision prohibiting the execution of the mentally retarded. The issue of whether the defendant is mentally retarded is currently being litigated in a number of death cases.
Also, the Supreme Court will be considering this fall whether a person can be executed for an offense committed when at age 17. This issue has stayed either five or six executions which were scheduled this year.
This woman is against a death sentence for those GUILTY of horrible crimes, yet supports with all her being the murder of INNOCENT, unborn children simply because of their inconvenience to the mother.
Answer: she would blame Bush, the police and conservatives.
