ranch on Oakdale Cyn Road...planes trying to help FFs save it...wall of flame heading towards it
Fire was approaching 138.
Air attack call just went out to get all available helicopters in the air to division x-ray, and have them contact copter 12 at "one twenty-two, eight five zero"
1-2 acres are on fire north of 138.
Why do I keep hearing "dirty water calls?" Is that a consequence of water drops, stirring up reservoirs or something? Residences keep calling in. Now they're talking about flushing through manholes.
Poppy Park reporting 96 degrees, 30 mph winds.
maybe...those helos are dropping buckets into the resevoirs....
and the CA aquaduct...
that fire in Santa Barbara early June, the County forbid them drawing water from the lakes after they found out about it...they also banned the aerial phoscheck....the fire burned an extra couple days....
On an unrelated note, KCET-TV is off the air on Dishnet.
3 C130s now fighting the fire....
Prayers for you and yours. I hope the fire stays away!
