After hearing about Whoopie Golberg and her vulgar, disrespectful and insulting words about the United States President, at a partisan Democratic fundraiser, I question her ability to represent Slim-fast.
If she continues to represent your product I will stop buying it immediatly. Iwill findish the two cans of powder I have and find alternative products.
Realize that when Goldberg insults our President, particlarly in such a vulgar fashion, she alienates half the country....can Slimfast really afford to lose half of their potential market?
Speaking of Whoopi cushions...
I was thinking of trying SlimFast, not because of a weight problem, but more for a lack of appetite. Oh well, they have store brands that are probably the same thing at a more reasonable price.

I'm sure that you have heard about the tasteless remarks that Ms. Goldberg made at a political fundraiser recently. What Ms. Goldberg does during her comedy routine is one thing, when she does it at a political function, and aims filthy remarks towards the President, then that is something else completely.
You might want to consider hiring a spokesperson with more class.

I sent my e-mail to Slimfast earlier today. I am now trying to find an earlier thread that also listed an address for Unilever, the parent company of SlimFast. I can't find that thread anymore. I ran several searches. Can somebody post the link? Thanks
I use your products several times a year when I want to take off some quick weight. However, I cannot support your company as long as you have this woman as your spokesperson. While you pay her, she represents you. She did not do you well the other night. If you feel strongly about her, go ahead and keep her on. Your business will go down. I guarantee it. I'll find another product to use as will everybody I speak to. This just wasn't Whoopi giving her opinion as a US citizen, this was a crude, drunken tirade. It's your choice, it's who you want to be as a Company. I wish you good luck with your decision.

Hello. Whoopi Goldberg's comments (at the recent fundraiser in NYC) toward our President were beyond poor taste. They were despicable during a time of war, when our men and women are fighting and dying for our freedoms.
A successful company like Slimfast need not stoop to use someone as bitter and classless as Ms. Goldberg for its' spokesperson.
As long as she is a spokesperson, my family and I will not purchase nor use any products associated with your company.

Fellow Freepers, I urge you to send an email to eight or ten of your non-freeper friends, telling them to send an anti-Whoopi email to Slimfast. I did so and have been delighted by the swift response of my friends; they're all sending emails to Slimfast as I type this! There appears to be much hostility towards Whoopi Goldberg out there, so let's harness it!
