My liberal Republican neurologist finance friend who thinks Bush is a short attention span pathetic idiot, loathes Edwards because of all those phony causation med malpractice suits he pursued to a "successful" conclusion. But he said, Edwards doesn't bother him much because all those malpractice attorneys have skeletons in their closet, and thus Edwards will never be president. I replied that I was pleased that Edwards directed his focus on docs, and not lawyers. The thing is, is that juries have some sympathy for docs (more so for the little babe of course, that didn't come out right, but whatever), and none for lawyers. :)

So much fear and loathing out there, so little time.

I'd give it a few more days of polling, but so far this was the biggest non-event event in modern Presidential politics.
