I have to say that whenever I think of living in America, South Carolina is near the top of my list of places to go...this is just another reason why.

Imagine a person like that running against Barbara Lee?

Myra Kirkwood is an excellent candidate.

She is smart, energetic and hard working. Her district is economically depressed but is coming back through worker retraining.

I have met her and support her. I would like to see her in Congress representing the people instead of the sheep. She has a popular incumbent to beat, but I think that this is the year to make big changes in Washington.

We all need to work hard, work together, and get qualified people in office to do the work that has failed to get done.

I think that Republicans have lost their nerve. In fairness, they're opposed by special interest groups with their hands in the cookie jar, and the lamestream media, which has become a virtual cheerleading squad for the 'Rats. If Sanford maintains these kind of ratings, maybe his political courage will become contageous.

"...you're a coward."

Aw shaddup! You're not only dead wrong... You're entirely too touchy!! Funny how you can hand it out, but you sure can't take it.

Why don't you start a whining vanity thread about being pinged so we can all have a ball making it a longer thread than the last guy who whined about being pinged?

How quaint.

I like what he is doing here in my home state. He battles for what is right and that is not always easy with some of the legislative dims around here - although they are fast going the way of the dinosaurs in this state. This next election is going to be very telling in SC. The libs are feeling the heat right now in the Wonderful Iodine State.

Thanks for the ping. Sounds like a winner. While I really, really like our Governor Jeb, a third Bush in such a short time would appear too much as a monarchy.

If he continues as he has in the past, I have no doubt that we will see him in the White House.

Amen to that. The legislature gave him a beating but thankfully some incumbents were told he was on the right path when they were voted out of office.
We must regain control of our local, state and national governments they are like kids in a candy store.

I am going to vote for Bush again simply because of National Security and the Liberals taking over the Democrat Party.
Kerry and Edwards both helped Bill Clinton dismantle our Nations Security and if these two Bozos are elected we will probably lose our sovereignty to the UN!
As far as Bush catering to all the foreigners as far as I am concerned these people used him like the NAACP uses the Democrats.Bush reached out to the NAACP and the Communist Bastards assail him on every front. This is what open borders have done to our country. These people come in here and expect us to cater to them and think America needs to change to suit them. As far as I am concerned if you are not American first and foremost you don't need to be here and I for one am ready to stand toe to toe against those who are taking over our country. This crap has gone far enough and its time for real Americans to take a stand!
