A friend of mine who tells me he isn't liberal, but an admitted Bush Basher sent me the following email this morning:
"This is all a theater, the real criminal is Bush," Saddam said, during one outburst, referring to the U.S. president My Friend's response is below:
man, i couldnt agree with him more
How do you combat this? I have pulled my hair out trying to get the truth to him, but unfortunately most people disagree with me and I'm called a war moner, blind, an idiot, etc.
Any suggestions?
Send him some pictures of the Halabja gassed dead. Ask him to explain that.
If you can't counter that one, stay away from other people and any debate. No offense but that one counters itself.
There are none so blind as those who WILL NOT see!
Just be patient. Your "friend" will eventually "see".........

Demand proof. Call him on it.

Tell them that the Islamist wackos want to kill me, you and all our friends whether we’re Republican or DemocRATs.
Ask him to support this claim that Bush is a criminal.
Ask him if he thinks Clinton is a criminal.
No matter what, there may be no hope for him.
Tell him that such words against Saddam would have cost him his head.

Anyone who could possibly say that George Bush is the criminal and that Saddam Hussein is an innocent bystander in all this is either completely out of touch with reality, a blatant liar, or never heard of Iraq before Bush CORRECTLY listed them as one of the axis of evil.
Either way, there is no way you are going to get that person to agree to anything you have to say. I.E. the truth. They aren't interested in it.
Ask him about earlier footage of families going to the mass graves after years of time to dig up their loved ones.
Tell him that if he's so sure that the so called insurgents in Iraq are right, why doesn't he go an offer his services to them?
(Just advise him that he'll likely end up dead, beheaded on videotape.)
Be sure to remind him that all beliefs are equal and that he's commited to Peace.
Also remind him that the terrorist insurgents are from Syria, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and places other than Iraq.
This is a friend? What do you have in common with someone like this?
I have friends who vote democrat, but they are not Bush Bashers, or the angry, nut types like Moore etc.
They would never compare Bush to Saddam. They are touchy feely types.
Find new friends. Any "friend" that thinks Bush is the problem and Saddam is the solution is simply not worth the effort.
