The ACLU is now suing for the right to allow people to operate nude camps for teens. The group filed a motion in Richmand, Virginia to invalidate a state ban on such camps. The state had imposed the ban because White Tail Park had attempted to operate a camp last year for kids aged 11-18. The ACLU is attempting to make the argument that lawmakers over reached and over reacted to the camp by passing such a ban. The ACLU is also arguing that such a ban "interferes" with the "right" of a family to raise and nurture their children.

The camp reportedly houses 1200 nudists at any one time during the year and up to 30 families live on site permanently.

Needless to say it is just up the ACLU's alley to be this stupid. It does not take a rocket scientist to figure out that kids aged 11-18 all naked - all the time - will not lead to the PROTECTION of said minors. The state argued in passing its ban that such a camp puts those same kids at incredible risk.

Actually from pictures of her as a young reporter, maybe not so bad. She was rode hard and put up wet way too many times since then. (A Texism. She likely did lots of drinkin', smokin' and carousin', so it was her that did the riding and neglecting) It shows. She definitely uglied as she aged.

Nudist camps rarely have much trouble with any kind of sexual pervsions. I guess they get used to all that skin as youngsters, and it basically doesn't float there boat any more than a clothed member of the opposite sex does for non-nudists.

Tain't neccessarily so that commonplace public nudity leads to more sex. Sort of like gun control's "common sense" notion that more guns equals more crime and violence, when in reality it means lower crimes rates, and the violance that does take place is more often of the "justifiable use of force" sort, than is the case with more gun control in place. Nude is only sexy if you think it is, and most legitimate nudists don't particularly. Or so I'm told.

First off horsefeathers. If you are trying to suggest that nudists are just like the rests of us your nuts. I've known some. They were more than a little odd.

That said you are likely correct there is less sex at a nudist camp, a normal one. I actually found a travel mag for nudists at Barnes-n-Nobles and Good Heavens most of those folks should never be seen naked except in the dark and after several beers. But a bunch of 17 year old lasses may just skew yer theory jest a bit.....

In the midst of all the snickering, someone actually puts up a post with a little reasoning behind it, even though - in conclusion - El Gato expresses what naturists pretty much _want_ the textile folks (i.e., folks from the clothed world) to think...

If you know where to look, you can spend some time online with naturists (or at least ladies and gents who _claim_ to be so). If one acts like a gentleman and doesn't act crude, the "naked ladies" are often more fun to chat with than are the clothed ones. Gain their confidence (again, by being civil), and they may tell you some amazin' things!

But let's use a little logic here. I would be willing to wager that almost 100% of any teens or pre-teens that sign up for any "teen nudist camp" (and there are others besides the one mentioned in this piece) are going to come from "naked homes" - that is to say, they are being "raised naked" by their parents who are also nudists/naturists. So they won't be engaging in any activity at camp that they haven't already been exposed to (pun intended) either at home, or more likely, among "private get-togethers" of naturist friends.

And one thing nearly _all_ women from naturist families tell me is that they "started" very young. Another revelation is that a majority of them actually _prefer_ older guys to younger. THEIR choice, moreso than the guys'. Like I said, they'll reveal some very interesting things if you chat politely with them.

Of course, some of them might be fantsizing or outright lying. But - after many conversations - I find the central "themes" too congruent, the patterns of behavior too similar. I sense many are simply telling the truth.

But something more. The naked world takes great pains to present to the clothed world the proper "image" of itself: that nudity has nothing to do with sex, that "freedom from clothes" has no correlation with "sexual freedom". I've come to the realization that this is pretty much a "facade" the naked world erects to protect itself from too close an examination by the textiles, fearing the outside world may "get the wrong idea" about naturism.

Indeed there _are_ many "strict" naturist resorts, including "family oriented" resorts which prohibit "open displays of affection" (a commonly used euphemism). But at the same time, there are more "liberal" ones, and even at those places that have rules, regulations, and codes of behavior, the atmosphere can "relax" a bit after dark (or when the clubs are chartered by private groups).

There is nothing the naked teen boys and naked teen girls are going to be doing at camp that they aren't _already doing_ otherwise. If anything, the behavior at camp (at least during organized daylight activities) will likely be closely monitored by adult supervision - again, with an eye on "maintaining the facade". After hours? Well.....

Once one has had the "curtain pulled back", to reveal the actual truths "behind the facade, one discovers that the naked world _is_ different from the clothed one.

Age of NY is 17 years old, and some states have the 4 year/under 21 buffer added on.

I.E. is the legal age in that state is 16, the other partner may not be more then 4 years older, untill they are both over 18, or some junk like that.

Age laws do very state by state, some wildly.
