Watch the ad now. The version on the website at least makes it very clear what's from moveon.org. And it has a nice little introduction.

Dems got busted on stupid moves, now they're whining about it. Nothing new to see here.

MoveOn gave the ad all sorts of support.....the MoveOn BushisHitler add is the one CBS wouldn't let air during the last Super Bowl, IIRC.

Aside from the changes to her article, how did she respond to you over the phone?

Wait...I'm wrong....it was a different ad that CBS wouldn't run from MoveOn.

Thanks for the link. The ad is not only crystal clear that's it's Kerry supporters who are the target, but notes that Kerry has condemned the use of Hitler comparisons. The shots of Hitler are clearly identified as being from moveon.org. It's a great ad, I hope they run it.

Yeah, that was the child labor ad.

What a stupid ad. I mean, its premise was, "someday these kids are going to grow up and have to get jobs! And it's all Bush's fault!"

I had the same experience recently at Costco. Every Bush-bashing book but none from our side. I called them later to express my displeasure and to confront them about their bias. I spoke with a manager who assured me it was not intentional, that they just picked the "bestsellers" to sell. I will give them the benefit of the doubt for now, since they have had conservative books there in the past, but I'm watching them and will keep on this.

For the sake of accuracy, it was actually an ad showing kids working off the national debt, not the hitler ad, that won their contest and cbs blocked.

President Bush's campaign contains online video, removed from a liberal group's Web site months ago and disavowed, that features the Nazi dictator.

Like it was a one time incident...

Originally, AP accused the Bush campaign of comparing Kerry to Hitler, but changed the piece when their lie was exposed.

This article strongly implies that the Hitler image is used to describe Democrats, although it doesn't say that. But if is easy to get that misunderstanding from the article.

Good documentation of how much the demwits have been pulling the Hitler comparison.

The democrats, the kerry kampaign, moveon, act, etc are a bunch of damned lying hypocrites.

OK guys, thanks, I got it. I did get this ad in the Bush email, and I did watch it. But that AP article was so misleading that I didn't realize that it was what they were referring to.

You know, I've said quite a few times over the last several years that the mainstream press can't get any more obviously partisan. But I've been wrong every time. They always seem to find new ways to sink even lower.

It will backfire. People will make an effort to see the ad and learn that Jennifer Kerr of the AP has lied to them, and they'll think John Kerry's a jackass for accusing Bush of what Kerry's supporters are actually guilty of.

Bring it on!

Amin Al Husseini meets with Adolf Hitler in November 1942, weeks before the decision to implement the Final Solution which sent Europe's Jews to the gas chamber. The Third Reich provided Amin Al Husseini with a salary and appointed him Head of the Hanzar SS Division. The Hanzar Division was made of Nazi Muslims and implemented the genocide of 250,000 Serbs, Gypsies and Jews during WWII.

I tried to write Ms. Kerr to ask her to correct the record, but she doesn't appear to accept email from the public, as my email got bounced back.

GOT THESE TODAY...............

Dear Xxxx,

Yesterday, the Bush-Cheney campaign, losing any last sense of decency, placed a disgusting ad called "The Faces of John Kerry's Democratic Party" as the main feature on its website. Bizarrely, and without explanation, the ad places Adolf Hitler among those faces.

The Bush-Cheney campaign must pull this ad off of its website. The use of Adolf Hitler by any campaign, politician or party is simply wrong.

We sent you a fundraising plea earlier this morning. But when this came up, we decided it was important to show you just what we're up against: a presidential campaign that is willing to do or say absolutely anything to win. You're our only line of defense against these underhanded tactics. Please contribute today:

https://contribute.johnkerry.com

If he were a real leader, George Bush would be talking about his first-term accomplishments -- and his second-term vision for America. But he has cast aside that opportunity because he has nothing to offer except a string of broken promises and a steady stream of fear and deception.

John Kerry is talking to this country about his optimistic vision for a stronger America. By contributing, you're giving him the resources to get that vision to millions more Americans every week. Help keep up the incredible momentum of this campaign by making a donation today:

https://contribute.johnkerry.com

Thank you,

Mary Beth Cahill
Campaign Manager

P.S. It's hard to believe that the Bush campaign would use images of Adolf Hitler. See it for yourself: http://www.georgewbush.com

Dear Xxxx,

On Thursday, the campaign launched a web video titled Kerry's Coalition of the Wild-eyed. The video featured Democrats who support John Kerry making negative and baseless attacks against the President. Interspersed in the video were segments of two ads that appeared on a website sponsored by MoveOn.org - a group campaigning for Kerry - in January.

On Friday night, John Kerry's campaign denounced our use of these ads, and called that use "disgusting."

The Kerry campaign says, "The use of Adolf Hitler by any campaign, politician or party is simply wrong."

We agree. These ads, like much of the hate-filled, angry rhetoric of Kerry's coalition of the Wild-eyed, are disgusting.

Where was John Kerry's disgust when he hired Zack Exley - the man responsible for encouraging the production of these ads as part of a MoveOn contest - to run the Kerry campaign's internet operation?
Where was John Kerry's sense of outrage when Al Gore, just yesterday afternoon, compared the Bush Administration to the Nazis saying, "The Administration works closely with a network of 'rapid response' digital Brown Shirts who work to pressure reporters and their editors for 'undermining support for our troops.'"
Where was John Kerry's anger when Al Gore in May spoke of "Bush's Gulag"?
Why has John Kerry not denounced billionaire and Democrat Party donor George Soros for comparing the Bush Administration to Nazis. Soros stated, "When I hear Bush say, 'You're either with us or against us,' it reminds me of the Germans. It conjures up memories of Nazi slogans on the walls, Der Feind Hort mit ('The enemy is listening')."
Why has Kerry not spoken out against filmmaker Michael Moore who last October compared the Patriot Act to Mein Kampf. "The Patriot Act is the first step. 'Mein Kampf' - 'Mein Kampf' was written long before Hitler came to power."
We created this web video to show the depths to which these Kerry supporters will sink to win in November.

Is this the Democratic Party of Franklin Delano Roosevelt who reassured his countrymen we have nothing to fear but fear itself?

No. This is John Kerry's Coalition of the Wild-eyed, who have nothing to offer but fear-mongering.

Sincerely,

Ken Mehlman
Campaign Manager

Boy howdy, the democRATs truly have no sense of honesty or shame. They will do something totally unethical, and when they get called on it, they turn right around and attempt to accuse their opposition of what they themselves are guilty of.

Reminds me of Vlad Lenin and his crew and how they used to operate. In fact, they appear more and more to be one and the same, don't they?
