What's eastern time?
what time is it EST?
Wow, that almost hurt!
My favorite is this quote (lifted from Newsmax) when asked why he started an affair with Lewinsky while he was under investigation:
"Let me just say this. One of the reasons he [Kenneth Starr] got away with it is because people like you only ask me the questions.
"You gave him a complete free ride. Any abuse they wanted to do. They indicted all these little people from Arkansas, what did you care about them, they're not famous, who cares that their life was trampled. Who cares that their children are humiliated."
HUH?? This man gives hypocrite a bad name! I guess he didn't care so much when he and the Wicked Witch of the West Wing were trampling the lives of the people in the White House Travel Office, and getting poor Billy Dale indicted.
Yeah, Slick-Meister, you're one GRAND humanitarian!
Yep, she would have thrown him out of the White House. Uh-huh, I believe that was a possibility.
Loose his temper? That's hugh! I'm series!
EST? One hour earlier than CST.
Who cares that their children are humiliated?
Chelsea, you mean? Would have been my comeback had I been questioning him.
thank you
The "Former Occupant of the Oval Office, 1993-2001", having his "Phil Donahue" moment.
We should have seen this side of him in October 1992.
I took it to mean those poor "little people" in Arkansas that Starr went after - I thought he was referring to "their" children. But you've got a good point - did he ever even THINK about the humiliation of his daughter? Probably not.
This man takes self-absorbed to an art form. I have to keep my fist from going through the set any time he's on (I mean, I was watching my blood pressure rise during the damn COMMERCIALS for 60 Minutes!)
Oops. EST is one hour ahead of CST.
Is BST the same as GMT?
I think there is a 6 hour difference between GMT and EST.
Mike Barnicle was on imus this morning. He was saying that Bubba says in his book that the worst moment in his presidency was telling Hillary about Monica. Apparently that was worse than the deaths in Waco, Mogadishu, Khobar, the WTC bombing, the African embassy bombings, the Cole and on and on. I can't think of another human being so self centered.
The webcast will be on at 5:35 pm Eastern DAYLIGHT time. We are five hours behind Britain. They are one hour ahead for the summer, as we are.
The only people on Eastern STANDARD time are several counties in Indiana. That state is partially on Central DAYLIGHT Time, partially on Eastern STANDARD Time, and partially on Eastern DAYLIGHT Time.
After all, why does he display such anger when he's questioned concerning his professed authenticity?
Why? Because he's nothing more than a liar and degenerate.
fyi
bump
EST technically it is not standard time, it is daylight savings time.
"Is BST the same as GMT?"
No, BST (British Summer Time) is 1 hour ahead of GMT (Greenwich Mean Time).
Panorama airs at 22:35 BST tonight.
Did Barnicle also make the same observation?
This from the man who destroyed former lovers' lives, unleashed the IRS on enemies, and whose wife had the files.
I remember him losing his cool with a couple radio guys from St Louis talking to them about Rush Limbaugh. He got his temper under control real quick that time, but just started yammering away when they asked if he'd like to leave a message. It was so pathetic what his temper had gotten him into they actually started laughing at him. Quite possible one of the lowest moments in a woeful Presidency.
As far as I am concerned this BBC story is the ONLY news to come out of this book pushing. I resent talk radio going back into its Clinton bashing mode as much as they have. Its too similar to Bush bashing and they should have learned how counterproductive that is. The very best thing conservatives can do is completely ignore Clinton's book. Let the mainstream media praise it daily and bore to tears every non partisan and show what partisan shills they are. Meanwhile they are counting on the right getting bug-eyed and hysterical about Clinton, but the rest of us have better things to do than dwell on this has-been.
Interview with Arthur "Two Sheds" Jackson from Monty Python's Flying Circus
Host (Eric Idle): Last week the Royal Festival Hall saw the first performance of a new symphony by one of the world's leading modern composers, Arthur 'Two sheds' Jackson. Mr Jackson.
Jackson (Terry Jones): Hello.
Host: May I just sidetrack for one moment. This -- what shall I call it -- nickname of yours...
Jackson: Ah yes.
Host: "Two sheds". How did you come by it?
Jackson: Well, I don't use it myself, but some of my friends call me "Two Sheds".
Host: And do you in fact have two sheds?
Jackson: No, I've only got one. I've had one for some time, but a few years ago I said I was thinking of getting another, and since then some people have called me "Two Sheds".
Host: In spite of the fact that you only have one.
Jackson: Yes.
Host: And are you still intending to purchase this second shed?
Jackson (impatient): No!
Host: ...To bring you in line with your epithet?
Jackson: No.
Host: I see, I see. Well to return to your symphony.
Jackson: Ah yes.
Host: Did you write this symphony in the shed?
Jackson (surprised): No!
Host: Have you written any of your recent works in this shed of yours?
Jackson: No, no, not at all. It's just an ordinary garden shed.
Host: I see, I see. And you're thinking of buying this second shed to write in!
Jackson: No, no. Look. This shed business -- it doesn't really matter. The sheds aren't important. A few friends call me Two Sheds and that's all there is to it. I wish you'd ask me about the music. Everybody talks about the sheds. They've got it out of proportion -- I'm a composer. I'm going to get rid of the shed. I'm fed up with it!
Host: Then you'll be Arthur 'No Sheds' Jackson, eh?

5:35 PM EDT!!!
Live alert!!!!
Clinton who? He is so yesterday. LOL
We've been told before that he lost his temper only to find it was overplayed. It will be interesting to hear from freepers if it's the real deal this time.
1:35 p.m. PDT.
We refer to it as IndiaNoTime.
Bill: "Sniff! Sniff! But I wanted to speak, too!"
Hill: "I'm NOT looking that direction, no way !"
Can anyone tell me where to go to get this. I'm embarrased to say that I can't figure it out even with the info in this thread.
BST is one hour ahead of GMT. So if it's 9:30 PM in London, it's 20h30m GMT. (GMT uses the 24 hour clock format).
Some excerpts are already up on their site. It appears this will be in RealPlayer format (at least the excerpts are).
If so, I can capture the audio but I don't have a place to host it.
It looks like the interview is a side view of his big cauliflower nose and a tight closeup. Too tight for my stomach.
GMT never observes Daylight Savings Time, it's consistent year-round. Eastern Standard Time is -5 hours of GMT, and Eastern Daylight Time is -4 hours GMT.

1993, the Rose Garden press briefing, Clinton introduces his latest nominee to the U.S. Supreme Court:
At the Rose Garden announcement of Clintons nomination of Ruth Bader Ginsburg for the Supreme Court, a candidate Clinton decided on after a lengthy search process, Hume, then with ABC News, inquired: The withdrawal of the Guinier nomination, sir, and your apparent focus on Judge Breyer, and your turn -- late, it seems -- to Judge Ginsburg, may have created an impression, perhaps unfair, of a certain zigzag quality in the decision-making process here. I wonder, sir, if you could kind of walk us through it and perhaps disabuse us of any notion we might have along those lines? Thank you."SourceA glaring Clinton icily fired back: I have long since given up the thought that I could disabuse some of you of turning any substantive decision into anything but political process. How you could ask a question like that after the statement she just made is beyond me.
Clinton then turned and walked back into the White House, thus prematurely ending the press conference.
Thanks!
Thanks for the link - very weird to be watching the BBC wethre forecast now - waiting for slick willie.
Who to believe? The plagiarist or the perjurer?
Gee, thanks McGruff! ;-D
I don't have Real Player since my old hard drive crashed....haven't had time to install a new one.
