I still can't get the image outa my head of that rabbit running for his life when the canon volleys were fired towards the end of the California Ceremony. They had several shots of the little guy scurrying down the hill.

I believe silence was purely golden out of "respect" for the week long Presidential funeral, ie. have enough diplomacy to be silent as a show of repect and dignity to a man(President Reagan) who did so for a life time. :)

If I remember correctly when President Reagan was going into surgery and said to the doctors, "I hope you are all Republicans", one of the doctors replied, "Mr. President, today we are all Republicans."
This was just their way of telegraping to their sycophants around the country and in the media that it was "ok" to be disrespectful during President Reagan's funeral services.

The whole thread is pretty darn funny. I can't add too much except that Hillary's scowl was expected. She obviously hates Republicans so much she can't even pretend to be dignified. I won't comment on the poser. Oh, and I really felt badly for Lynne Cheney. At least he didn't touch her leg or anything.
In Bill's funeral plans, you need to add the 100-member black church choir in gold-colored robes swaying back and forth to a good old-time Gospel hymn - and Hillary looking like she's asleep sitting in the front row.
