I missed that, since I was listening last night. However, I managed to catch it surfing earlier today on CSPAN.
When the first cannon fired at the funeral in California, you could see Mrs. Reagan flinch in shock. Her escort had to help her out. A little warning would have been helpful for her, I think.

It would've shocked me too. Let's see, Nancy is a frail 82 yrs old, depressed widow, yeah lets keep her running back n forth on and off airplanes, long walks to and from her husbands casket with the occassional cannon burst to livin things up. I think for people her age things needed to be arranged differently. I won't be surprised if the poor baby (Nancy) collapses after all of this and joins Ronald in heaven. I just don't see her wanting to stick around any longer after such a LONG whirl wind life and so joined at the hip with her beloved. She's served her purpose in life and too is ready for her great rewards. Bless her.
Same thing with the single F-18 when it went full thrust and went vertical during the missing man formation. I recognize the symbology behind the maneuver, but it would have been better if the planes had just done a fly-by in quiet dignity rather than turning JP-8 into noise.
The order was determined by reverse order of holding the office of President. Seated first were President and First Lady Bush, then Vice-President Cheney and his wife. Former President Clinton and Hildabeast were next followed by George H W Bush and Barbara. Then on the next row were Jimmy and Rosalyn Carter followed by Gerald and Betty Ford. Given the method by which the seats were determined, I bet Lynne Cheney would rather have that seat than Lieberman's.
What the hell were those two degenerates doing in the front row anyway? Ford should have probably gotten that honour, not the perverted duo...

But I'll tell ya what!, just before the services began, I noticed GW had a Chesire Cat grin, like Lynne Cheney drew the short straw!

I doubt either of them has been in a church since their last Sunday as co-presidents. That was for show only, no one in their right minds ever thought those two would be there for worship, only a photo op. I guess they both realized that even though they were in the front pew, the world was not looking at their ugly faces. The world had better places to look.
