If I recall there WERE some photos, but AlphabetNews had a heavy censorship in play.

In regard to photos:

1. The media censored the images of what happened to people on 9-11.
2. They censored the images of what happened to Saddam's torture victims.
3.They censored the images of the atorcities committed against our soldiers.
4. They censored the images of behadings and dismemberment of American civilians.
.........but.......

5. They have shown images of what occurred at Abu Ghraid over and over and over again, while lusting for more, because, as they have all stated; "You can't really comprehend what happened without the photos."

Are these people insane or are they wicked, America-hating hypocrites?

Ummmm do ya have a link to that Silver Star Medal you reference for Lynch ? Best of my knowledge she got a Combat MSM which is awarded as a Bronze Star without the "V" for valor and a POW & Purple Heart.

I know I would'nt want to put out bad info so educate me if ya have knowledge of the Silver Star as I googled and can't find such a story.

Stay Safe !

Nope. No story here. Press will ignore it. Means that the enemy is actually mean and cruel. Nope. Nothing to gain here, can't put any blame on Bush.

"according to the Geneva Convention.”

Agreed. These are TERRORISTS we are fighting, whether it be now, or back when these events took place. The Geneva Conventions may be the "right" way to treat POWs, but they only apply to nation states who signed them, to members of those national armies fighting on behalf of a "sanctioned" war, etc. This is why WE aren't obligated to follow the Geneva Conventions explicitly at GITMO, because the people at GITMO are ROGUE elements (Taliban, al Qaeda, etc.). But TERRORISTS don't follow the Geneva Conventions!!

I can't remember if Iraq signed the Conventions or not, so I don't know if we expected "fair" treatment of our POWs by Iraq's army during the war... or if we expected "no holds barred" treatment because they didn't subscribe to the Geneva Conventions.

I guess that is it. Only report on news that will hurt Bush.
I am surprised how this reporter allowed the parents to speak their mind and actually printed it.
Kudos to Abe Estimada. ..Oops I hope I am not ruining his career by complimenting him on a Right Wing website.

When we capture his murderers, I sure hope we don't humiliate them by putting women's panties on their heads.

I somehow think a Nurnberg type trial is impossible to put on these days, because of all the political correctness.

I actually work next to a woman who thought the prison "atrocities" were atrocities, and that "we're supposed to be better than they are in our treatment of prisoners."

She actually said it would be BETTER to have stretched them out using "the rack" than to put their food in a toilet. I was so flabbergasted I could hardly speak. Me thinks she never heard any of the atrocities committed by Uday and his thugs.

That is the mentality we are fighting against in this country.

They killed him, but they kept the pretty white girl around to have some fun with.

Islam is a Satanic death cult.

There out to be some sort of FreeRepublic medal we could bestow on some of these brave soldiers of exceptional qualities. Some way Fr could forever recognize their service/sacrifice to our country.

I like that idea very much.

"I want to express my anger and absolute disgust who flouted every rule of international law, every religious and moral commandment, and every principle of common decency in committing such an act against a helpless prisoner of war....I know that civilized people around the world will recoil when they learn of this atrocity."

Sadly, only conservatives in the US and Canada, and a few in Britain.

The rest will ignore it unless they can somehow twist it to damage the Bush administration and hamper the efforts of our troops fighting the war on terrorism.

Right. The Fedayeen at that time were uniformed military. As such, they were bound by the same Geneva Conventions we were (are).

Squantos--I stand corrected.It was a Bronze Star.

I mentioned Kerry and had stars in my eyes.

No other explanation. Thanks for setting me straight.

Happy Memorial Day.
