Yes! The Alaska Cruises are great. If they put a West Coast Freeps Ahoy cruise together, we'll be there for sure. I've mentioned it to Jim and sounds like he and Sheila might be up for it "someday". If we could get the Fresno, LA, Bay Area and Seattle groups (and all those in between) on a ship at the same time, wouldn't that be fun? Wouldn't matter where it went, as far as I'm concerned.

Is it a new one? We sailed the Panama Canal on the Maasdam, and had an absolutely wonderful time. Holland America is a real class act.

Hey that's great. Some of those ships are truly amazing.
I'm mixing our shots with some file photos I've found over time. I hope you enjoy them.
On Sunday the 23rd the Zuiderdam set up shop off-shore of Half Moon Cay. This file photo shows a shot of the Zuiderdam from the shore of Half Moon Cay.
DaleReed reports that our Freepers spent the day on the beach at the Holland American private island, Half Moon Cay. "It was warm and overcast with a light breeze and a good time was had by all. Bush Democrat and her husband Mike rented the cabana for all to enjoy and have a place to retreat from the tropical heat and imbibe a nice cool one." Photo below...
Then Monday it was back to sailing the high seas as the Zuiderdam steamed South-East toward the next stop, St. Thomas.
Freepers arrive at St. Thomas on Tuesday morning at 8:00 a.m. They'll be able to visit St. Thomas until just before midnight.

Sighhhhhhhhhhhh...
A cruise, so romantic, watching the moonlight dance across the waves, the dolphins and porpoises at play, the laughter and giggles, the soulful looks couples give each other, the fantasy of it all...
Yep, I'm jealous...
Being poor isn't fun...

I recognize some of them, but I just don't remember their names either. Our families will have to meet on one of these someday Dixie Sass.
To: DoughtyOne
Didn't you go on the first cruise? We have met, in Vegas at Friva and of course the one place I can run my mouth...

That's right, we did meet at FRiva Las Vegas.
We'll have to do it again. I can hear the water lapping at the ship now...

I didn't get to go this time either Bob. Let's look forward to the next one. I can't wait. Hope the situation with your wife's sister has resolved favorably. Take care.

On your next cruise, stop in Belize, I will be there to welcome you.
To: ThirdMate
Okay, so far I'm suggesting a west coast cruise that incorporates Belize as a stop. Anyone else have a suggestion?
Heh heh heh, I'll keep that in mind. It is interesting that you are down there.
To: DoughtyOne
Gosh, even the map at the beginning of the thread is beautiful! Hope you all are having a terrific time!
Bring me a present okay? (all of you of course! ) :-)
