It's a real story. The Mexican government has been investigating, and has now gone public.

Whatever it was, it showed up on infrared and radar, but was not visible to the eye. I can understand false images caused by faulty electronics, but not when it shows up on two different systems, using two different technologies, and the locations correlate.

My personal guess is that it was some kind of natural electromagnetic phenomenon that we do not understand.

Actually, El Presidente Fox has stolen a major shipment belonging to a Columbian drug cartel. He is telling them that the space aliens (no, not MEXICAN aliens) took it and has published these fake photos as proof. His fall back position pointing out who stole the cartel's drugs is a fuzzy picture of Santa's sleigh.

Check the pictures carefully. There seems to be six lights in two clusters. In each cluster, the two outer lights are low and the center light is higher. They seem to be mounted on the wings of the same aircraft, probably moving at the camera but, possibly, away from the camera. No, Fox is trying to diddle the Columbias like they were, well, Americans.

There was a UFO photographed at a military air show some years ago in Poland. I happened to have seen it at that time. This does not mean, of course, that little grey or green men were piloting this object. It was also photographed by Polish military officers who were photographing various aerial maneuvers.
