About those John-Kerry-Does-Vietnam, bet-hedging (aka flip-flopping) reinactment pictures...

what about those "action" pictures of himself that he had taken after the war and has used in his TV commercials? When did that happen? Did he do it simultaneously with protesting the war, so he could later exploit his service? Has there ever been any information posted here about those pictures?

The incredible shrinking medals of Lt. John Kerry

bout those John-Kerry-Does-Vietnam, bet-hedging (aka flip-flopping) reinactment pictures...

No one seems to be focusing on the level of psychopathy that would be necessary for someone--and especially someone with supposedly so much disgust for the event--to have done this. Even if we discount Kerry's cynical, sick, self-serving motive, the John-Kerry-Does-Vietnam reinactment pictures are, by definition, sick.

That the man watches them ad nauseam, that he whips them out for guests at the slightest provocation, (like unfailingly soporific vacation slides), only confirms the diagnosis.

And no one seems to be focusing on the rank dishonesty of John Kerry to use his fake "reality TV" pictures in any John Kerry sales pitch.

Of this you can be certain: Bush v. Kerry is not their premiere showing. John-Kerry-Does-Vietnam reinactment pictures doubtless had top billing in prior Kerry races.

John Kerry is not honest. John Kerry is not well.

John Kerry lacks the moral authority to be president. Especially now, with the prisoner-abuse scandal.

America cannot afford to elect a president who is a self-professed war criminal.

 "CRY BUSH" + Iraqi-Prisoner "Abuse"

ohn Kerry, self-professed war criminal, needed the Iraqi prisoner "abuse" scandal about as much as bill clinton, documented rapist, needed the Saddam rape rooms or the marauding Milosevic rapist-guerrillas.

For this reason, Kerry did not respond for a full week to this latest leftist-fulminated Bush-bashing brouhaha, and when Kerry did finally respond, the focus of his condemnation was process, not content, his pulled punches notwithstanding.

Makes sense. War criminals, by definition, lack the requisite moral authority to address such war-related -- ah -- issues.

By contrast, the response from Kerry's leftist colleagues has been so disproportionate -- and so predictable -- that it approaches farce of farce, even if we discount demonstrated Democrat willingness to trade American blood and national security for reacquired power.

The Democrats, apparently not adherents of Aesop, have "cried Bush" far too many times to be to be anything but preposterous. (Thank you, Howard Dean.)

Are the reflexively self-serving, America-hating, power-hungry Dems simply clueless actors? Or are they part of a larger orchestrated effort to muddy up Kerry's Vietnam-atrocities swamp?

I never saw anyone with a 8mm movie camera in RVN the whole time I was there and I was in lots of places. Everyone had 35mm, but no movie camera's. Only a phony lying POS like kerry would record something like he did. He ain't no bro of mine.

;)

The snowboarding virtual kerry is a work-in-progress.

My goal is to dress him up in his proper ski gear,
complete with his daisy zipper pull,
a look not wholly consistent with above-referenced package. ;)

Incidentally, both clinton and Gore tried the phallic ploy, but failed.
Bush succeeded without trying.

It seems common knowledge that Kerry took a movie camera with him to Viet Nam, and made home movies making him looking like super soldier. He probably first used them in one of his senate campaigns, and now they are available for presidential campaign ads. The following is interesting..shows Kerry has his own Harry Thomasson, hard at work manufacturing legends.

Kerry Ready for Duty
Documentary filmmaker George Butler to bring the life of the Democratic presidential candidate to the big screen.

By FilmStew Staff Report

Teaming up with his old friend John Kerry, documentary filmmaker George Butler will produce and direct the biopic Tour of Duty, centering on the life of the Democratic presidential candidate. Butler began working on the project in 2003 and hopes to have it ready to hit theaters during the Labor Day holiday 2004, just in time for the presidential election.

Based on the Douglas Brinkley book of the same name, Tour follows Kerry as he served a Navy tour in Vietnam, came home and rallied for peace by becoming a spokesperson for the Vietnam Veterans Against the War and then successfully ran for the Senate in 1984. Kerry is cooperating with the film, which will feature both new interviews as well as archived footage. The film is being made outside the campaign, however, and the Democratic Party will have no creative input.

Kerry and Butler first met over 40 years ago and have been friends and colleagues ever since. When Kerry ran for Congress in 1969, Butler served as his press secretary. They also worked together on The New Soldier, the controversial 1971 book about Vietnam veterans.

Butler, who is holding off on trying to make a distribution deal until the completion of the film, may be best known for directing the documentary Pumping Iron, which followed the quest of the then-unknown Arnold Schwarzenegger to win another Mr. Olympia contest. Butler also recently directed The Endurance: Shackleton's Legendary Antarctic Expedition."
