I fainted once (long time ago) as people were trying to wake me and make me comfortable I was floating above them, I was higher than the ceiling and remember vividly thinking how funny it was for them to worry about me, I was OK, it scared everyone.
When I went to see a Doctor and get checked out, I described the experience, he wasn't buying it, haven't mentioned it since, but I know what I know.

nd my own ability to astral project (which I was warned in no uncertain terms to never attempt again),When I was 20 I tried it based on a technique from a Tibetan mystic. The experience scared the S*** out of me and that warning as merit.

Does the soul exist before conception? Many believe it is so.
Does the soul enter the body sometime after conception? Many believe it is so.

Dr. Morse seems to be open minded about eveything but God. I don't see how a person who doesn't believe in God can pray. Either there is a greater being than me, or their isn't. Whose ears are they that are going to hear that prayer? I take comfort in the words of Jesus when he declared that in his Father's house are many dwelling places, that he was going to prepare a place for me, and that if it were not true, he would have told me. Since he arose from the dead, I can trust what he said.

Kerry is reported to have had a near-life experience once.It looks to me like he never returned from it either.

Interesting article. One line, however, makes me giggle:
prayer, meditation, even the rhythmic movement of knitting
I agree. First he says he does not believe in God, but then prayer is a good way to get in touch with "What?" Okee dokee... And just who are these people talking to the flatliners on the other side? Them selves? Another "realm" as he puts it, I suppose is Godless. Whatever. I will pray for him.

There is life after death. The Bible says so. Besides it's not just what's in the Bible. I do not believe that this is it. If this is ALL there is in life, then what in tarnation do we have to live for? Is this all that there is? I can't look at that and say no.

The NBC 10 Investigators tracked down a doctor in Seattle whose research may come closer to anyone else to answering the question, is there life after death? Well, let's see, Jesus Christ rose from the dead and told us there was. Hmmmmm...., ABC and a doctor.... or Jesus Christ...! That's a tough one...

"One child told me it was a light who told her who she was and where she was to go," said Dr. Morse. "I want to interact with that light that tells us who we are and where we are to go while we're still alive. That to me is a challenge of the near-death experience."Interesting that this is the position of a doctor who doesn't believe in God. Seems he already has a chance to interact with that light (Light, if you will), and is rejecting it.

Where are we before we are born? Is there a beforelife? An afterlife implys a consciousness that survives the body, so implies a consciousness that preceeds the body. Of course, that automatically opens the question of reincarnation.
And that means that cockroach you just stepped on may have been a politician in a prior life.

He was a skeptic about the issue of life after death until he was confronted with a story he couldn't explain away.
When science comes to understand what is happening in a falling dream then it will understand a little bit about life and death and the afterlife.

Dr. Morse. "I want to interact with that light that tells us who we are and where we are to go ..." Go to church.

Just tell me if I am getting 72 virgins. I don't see how it could do you much good without a body.
