Of course this screed is shot through with wishful thinking and gross ignorance of the American conservative movement.
Buchanan's brand of warped 'conservatism' is as dead as a doornail. It was already on life support in 2000, as palpably demonstrated by his inability to even rise to the level of being a nuisance; except for Al Gore, whose voters in Florida were too stupid to know which hole to punch. September 11th finished it off.
American conservatives of any variety worth noting overwhelmingly support our friends the Israelis and the Commander-in-Chief's fight against the terrorists.
You gotta love it when your enemies, foreign and domestic, are basing their hopes on wishful thinking and ignorance.

I guess Mark Dankof and the Constitution party have a real problem with the fact that FR supports the President and the war on terrorism. Also looks like they've joined forces with the darkside (
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-gop/1122241/posts ). Guess they can hate us as well as any other America hating liberal/marxist Democrat or Islamic terrorist. Breaks my heart.

Mark Dankof is a Lutheran pastorNot to knock Lutherans in general, but I can't help thinking that Martin Luther's writings regarding the Jews are probably pretty popular with Al-Jazeera's audience. Mark Dankof and his Islamic handlers probably have a lot to talk about.

Having been informed by other traditional American conservatives of Mr. Robinson's methods, I tested him this week by posting my article for Dave Black On Line (http://www.daveblackonline.com/constitution_party1.htm) for 3rd Party Presidential candidate Michael Peroutka with Free Republic.com. Robinson's commitment to a Censored Republic.com was proven and re-affirmed less than twelve hours later when the thread was predictably pulled and my posting privileges with his service revoked after only one offering. That's right, and stay out! You can start your own Terrorists Republic.com, except of course terrorists don't want a republic.... Terrorist Dicatarship.com

This actually shows the deperation of the Constitutionalists. They are so wrapped up in their hatred of this administration that they are even getting their stuff printed by Al-freakin'-Jazeera, fer cryin' out loud!
Everyone here knows that I've got my issues with Bush. He's spendin' too damn much money (hell, damn near as much as the Dems would/do), he's playin' patty-cake with the Saudis, he won't close the damn border, and he's busy pandering to Hispanics with his freakin' guest worker program.
But there's no other viable person!
The Constitutionalists have about as much chance as a snowball in hell, and if we say no to Bush, we're left with Ketchup Boy, and quite frankly, I don't trust him not to get more Americans killed here at home with his waffling and capitulation.
No, the only thing we can safely do is to get the system changed from within. Because I can rest assured that if Bush doesn't do anything else right, he'll do his damnedest to make sure the bad guys don't kill us. He'll keep 'em on the run. Kerry damn sure won't do that.

Wow, AlJizzira, the demented drag queen of pseudo journalism, stoops so low as to Troll Free Republic! As if we bother to give their birdcage liner reporting the time of day!
Rather than conservatives being worried about Iraq, I think the proper interpretation is that the right has realized that we are in a real war and that it is time to stiffen our backbone and begin to kill en masse. This is not a pleasant alternative, however the Islamofacists have given no choice. Even if we were to surrender, the suicide bombings and fanatic Jihad will continue until the last Christian is dead. Under those circumstances, an AC130 is too good for the AlJizzirists.
By the way, the above article is complete agit-prop. FreeRepublic has never claimed to be unbiased, so when loons rant, it is little wonder that a Zot occurs (as if any of us would be allowed to present our views at all on AlJizz)..

The far left needs to cheer themselves up after they woke up and found themselves in bed with John Kerry the next morning.
I mean, how stupid is it to use politicians from third parties as ammunition against President Bush? It's not like Pat Buchanan voted for Bush in 2000. Hello.

The Al Jazeera angle tickles the hell out of me. Al Jazeera
and the Constitution Party, two groups with their heads up the same place.

Hey, there are soft Lutherans, and hard Lutherans. I'm Missouri Synod, not one of the soft synods.
