Here's hoping we found out which block Zarqawi was inhabiting and decided to just level it.

But don't discount the possibility that the jihadists realized that they have lost momentum, and decided to rally world opinion agains the US by killing large numbers of civilians.

This is it, it's going down.

It's really scarey to watch - I pray for our troops.

May God Protect them!

Fox reporting the troops are using AC130 gunships. Attack is based on intelligence that this is a hot bed area.

Hopefully a few hundred terrorist just got to meet their maker and are now in transit to their final home.

Do they each get 72 virgins or at some point do they shift to sloppy seconds?

Leave it to CNN. Jesus...why doesn't AQ just take out their sat communications from spewing their swill? Our Marines are taking care of bizness.

You are seeing a AC-130 gunship in action....they are firing a 105 howitzer from the plane.

I just love seeing my tax dollars at work.... Think I need to make a run to the break room and turn on the TV.

Though it is unlikley- given the nature of guerilla urban warfare- lets hope that no civilians are being cut down.

is an a 130 gunship a big plane? I am military hardware challanged and a ninny to boot,,this kind of thread gives me fear and chills {sort of the reverse of shock and awe}. I feel scared right now and I am not there. Maybe men get shock and awe and women get fear and chills.

AC-130 gunship in action.

Yep, that's what FOX just reported. ......a lot of secondary explosions. .....from a munitions depot, most likely.
