The sickening part is the fact that they wouldn't have to be competing for the baby if so many women were not murdering their babies.

That would be a better show. Present five sets of parents who want to adopt a child, every week, and have women considering abortion see what wonderful parents their pre-borned child could have. Have a place for those who want to save their child call in and give them info about not getting an abortion, and the alternatives they have.

And it'll only be a few days after that until we see human sacrifice.

Without a doubt.

20/20, the reality show..."who will be voted off the island tonight?"

Just damn.

If you want on the list, FReepmail me. This IS a high-volume PING list...

I'm just glad that the baby's already born. Imagine if the couples were vying for an unborn child...if no couple won, ABC would probably air a live abortion.

Considering the pro-abort mentality, they would never air a show about the unborn child, because afterall, it isn't really (sarcasm) a person until it's born. So no story to tell. Plus the sonograms and anticipation of waiting for the birth of the child (not 'potential' child) might cast dispersions and plant seeds of doubt about abortion (particularly in terms of the casual use of the 'procedure') in the minds of some viewers and they wouldn't want that.

It is sick and twisted. It falls just short of selling or raffling off a baby, a real baby, to the 'winner' or highest bidder. And casts dispersions on the thousands of would-be and already adoptive parents and their adopted children. There are so many other ways they could spotlight the need for adoption in a positive way, but this is just a three ring circus, a real trainwreck.

Oops, in my haste, I typed this:

And casts dispersions on the thousands of would-be and already adoptive parents and their adopted children.

What I meant by dispersions is creating, or for some uninformed people - fostering, the idea that one 'buys' a baby rather than adopts it because of the fees and legal work involved, a comment I've heard a number of people make. None of this helps the people wanting to parent a child or a child waiting for parents.

I believe it. It's sad, but it won't get any better.
ABC vs. Fox reality shows....who's worse?

Sick, but not surprising. Nothing surprises me anymore. Every week it seems like they will sink to a new low in a desperate attempt at ratings. Who watches these stupid reality shows? Someone must be, or they wouldn't continue.

My prediction for the next reality show. They'll follow around a couple of teenagers and film them having unprotected sex in the back seat of a car. Then they will let the audience decide if the girl aborts the pregnancy or gives the baby up for adoption. The audience will decide by calling into a 900 number, ala "American Idol". Of course the pro-"choice" (baby killers) gang will stack the vote, and then the live abortion will be shown on tv. Then the couple will appear on all the talk shows, and have their 15 minutes of fame.

Ratings bonanza!!!!!!

I don't know, I could see a "Whoever Makes the Cutest Baby Wins" type show...

LOL. I like the tree. Funny and a little sad, kind of like Paris Hilton going to Arkansas to presumably make fun of the locals... (no offense to Arkansas residents) At least it wouldn't be 5 couples fighting over one cute baby.

And the spin-off could be the Springer style show to wait for the lab results of the tests for STD's, complete with primary and secondary 'contacts', and cheating couples with multiple partners where are all the guys are metrosexual and the girls all dress like Brittney Spears. It could air in early afternoon when teens are home from school, but their parents are still at work. The endless hours of on-air 'confessions' and confrontations. More audience voting to see who tests positive and which partner also tests positive. A possible second bonanza. Oh wait - this might already be the Springer show...

You want SICK?? The reality show sequel:

ONE set of adoptive parents and,
TEN pregnant women recruited from abortion clinic waiting rooms.
The adoptive couple follows the pregnant women around for 9 weeks.
Each week they reject one as unfit and off she goes back stage for the abortion.
Show epilogue is an interview with the adoptive parents on why that
woman wasn't fit to be the mother of THEIR child.
Former mother-to-be tells what it's like to be "free.

Has ABC finally gone too far in turning the adoption of a child into what is for all intents and purposes a game show?

Yep.

I thought the new show "the swan" advertising ugly women getting plastic surgery and such was sicko.

And probably unnecessary. I'm sure there are a few men out there who subscribe to the Jimmy Soul philosophy of marriage.

One never has to compete for babies. There are plenty of healthy, beaufiul babies available. I adopted four and never had to wait more than nine months for any. All healthy middle class American children.
