This sounds like an episode of "Curb Your Enthusiasm." It seems that Larry David gets arrested or thrown out of a store in about half the episodes.

Collins reported that Mrs. Baucus drove from the scene, and returned a while later with her husband.

Disgusting. The elitist b*tch thought the fact that her hubby was a U.S. Senator was going to get her off the hook.

And maybe since she's such a Saddam-lover they oughta throw in a treason charge.

Ah, for the days when words meant things...

As the previous article said:

The senator's wife, Wanda, a painter and anthropologist, has gone so far as to desecrate the American flag by replacing the stars with doves

Sounds like she's only a peacenik when she's not personally involved.

I always found the few people that I have met from Montana to be very gracious and pleasant. Salt of the Earth.

For those of you reading this thread; Washington, D.C. is Sodom & Gomorrah with a heavy dose of Machivellian Italy thrown in for good measure.

It brings out the very worst attributes of a persons character.

It takes a strong stomach and a strong sense of self to resist the nearly fiendish temptations this city has to offer.

Regards,

She's just stressed out because George W. Bush is in the White House. She has "Bush Derangement Syndrome"

Bush Derangement Syndrome: the acute onset of paranoia in otherwise normal people in reaction to the policies, the presidency -- nay -- the very existence of George W. Bush.

Could the victim be identified as a minority? D.C. has some hate crime laws, right? Plus a civil suit.

Wanda really messed up this time. Maybe Max should check her purse. I'll bet she's over-medicating.

I thought the dropping a bag of mulch under the woman's car was a nice touch.

I remember an airborne traffic reporter one day trying to give a live afternoon traffic report from on high but he couldn't stop laughing. He finally managed to share a problem happening at a busy intersection. Two women had run their vehicles into each other in a fender bender and were out in the street in an all-out brawl - punching, hair-pulling, slapping, wrestling etc. Apparently nobody wanted to stop it either!

"And then that garden dept. employee helped that peasant ahead of me. She drives a car that's 6 years old, don't you know. Now look at my car. You can see how it is, right?"

"And then I cracked her in the mouth like this. You have to keep those dirty working-class people in line..."

"And you would do very well to call me 'ma'am' or 'Mrs. Baucus.' How did you people get to be so arrogant when you have absolutely nothing?"

Ewww...violent and not too frugal either. Why buy mulch in bags? Why not have it delivered by the truck load? Much more envioronmentally friendly...no plastic bagging to waste, no polluting equipment to make the bags, pack the mulch, etc. These crazy libs...

Puh-lease. What a loon the Senator has for a wife! What is it with Democrats that they feel they should be treated like royalty at the expense of the rest of us?? Just automatically and naturally offered deferential and preferential treatment...

Maybe the victim had a Bush bumpersticker and, therefore, deserved to be punched in the face and chest?
