The other option, is we could tell Spain that we will be nuking one of their cities per week until they return Aznar to power. Hey, it worked for the terrorists.

Any superficial suggestions for doing that? I see the (well-deserved) treatment that the French and German monkeys received is not what Spain is receiving. That's election year politics and I'm not a fan. As a sovereign nation, we can make trade and other things difficult for nation's that unilaterally choose to make the war we fight on their behalf tougher...

Despite the minister's upbeat assessment, Powell, who normally appears with visiting foreign ministers to address the press, was noticeably absent when Moratinos spoke to reporters at the main State Department entrance after the meeting.Nice shot Secretary Powell.

It's worse than you think. See my post #12.
The Spanish military is very upset about this, btw. Personally, I think Spain is about to come apart at the seams. Remember, 10 million Spaniards did NOT vote for the Socialists, and they're not happy about this, either.

Spain has cast their lot with France.
So be it.
There are consequences.

Doesn't sound like a stuff-it event occured today...he**, the Spanturd Foreign Minister makes it sound like it never happened, the recent past is no more and the consequences will never come home to roost. I agree, they need to be ostracized until sanity re-enters their society.

Considering the explosive (pun intended) birth rates of Mohammedans in Europe, nearly unfettered Mohammedan immigration and negative population growth among white Europeans, there is no stopping it.
It won't be long until the Islamist comprise a major voting bloc in European elections.

Let's be forgiving. Just because the Spanish voters cowtowed to the terrorists in the last Spanish election, leaving the lasting impression to Muslim terrorists that all al-Queda has to do before a major elecion in any coalition country is to kill a lot of the coalition's people and win that election is no reason to be angry. < /sarcasm>
Anzar had brought 8 years of prosperity to his country with conservative policies, and the people rejected his party and voted in a socialist. Good luck to them, they'll need it.

Unfortunately, there will not be another Francisco Franco to march in after these neo-commies screw up the country and kick the scum out of Spain.
With the death of Franco, the commies and their descendants came back from France to renew the communist agenda.

Agree completely. If the Basques want something done, coordinate some massive attack on commercial and civilian interests, and pledge continuity until Zap gives in.

So now he speaks for Sec. Powell? Powell dissed him and didn't show up.
Get out and don't let the door hit you in the a$s.

He's been, apparently, a pretty good team player. He hopefully has had come awakenings. I've never been a Powell fan, and for good reasons, but he seems to be adequate in the present world crisis.
I would dismantle and fumigate the Foggy Bottom myself, starting over, which would include replacing anyone who remotely doesn't get it - it being the world wide war that was on the infidels by the islamijihadists.
This war is WAY more dangerous than any threat EVER, because it was started by a mainstream, deadly, bogus, cult religion and all the world's God-less, government-worshippers would watch their nation's crumble before admitting that they are glad that Islam is trying to (hopelessly) dismantle God-tolerant nations.

Spain's visiting foreign minister moved to soothe US anger at the Spanish decision to withdraw troops from Iraq (news - web sites) by promising future cooperation with the United States in the global war on terrorism, Middle East peace efforts and the Balkans.Fool me once, etc...
